South africa better watch out. For the first time in a long while since the arab spring that destabilized Egypt, they finally get a legitimate and formidable economic rival. Love both countries. cc, shymm3x,missy89. |

No country has monopoly over development, growth and change. It applies to everywhere there's effective utilization of knowledge, skill, manpower, leadership and resources. We have African nations that can dethrone the First Nations in many ways but they are too blind to the abundance of potentials within their reach. |

CSTR2: South Africa?! I think you mean Nigeria, because Nigeria are the ones on top now we're no longer the guys to beat anymore, and why do things have to be a competition? Our Continent would be a lot better if you spent more time trying to grow each other then to completing against one another. |

Centrifude: my point exactly, With oil price at $48, let it stay there for 24 months, then nigeria will be a dustbin. So the gap between Nigeria, SA and Egypt is not that wide in GDP value. IT can take only 3 to 5yrs for Nigeria to be dethrown. So guys, dont feel like you have made it, you still have a long way to go unlike SA which already has an existing infrastructure. Their budget will be spent on human development whole their $23billion budget will be spent on infrastructure 1 Like |
