Well, lucky for him, if he was accused of conspiracy, it amounts to death by firing squad.

I think most people here are illiterates.

The accusation against this man betrayed his pedigree. Am sure the Kuti's won't be happy with him at this moment. Why haven the gun & refusing to shoot ? What kind of military commander is he ? Boko Haram has really messed up his hard earned rank in the military, all efforts put into training just evaporated like that ! God have mercy .

The Ransom Kuti man just didn't want to fight a useless fight. A fight that was self-inflicted by religious big wigs in the north who clamoured for sharia criminal laws.
Religious wars are usually endless.

Boko Haram has made it plain several times that it's fighting for a country governed with sharia criminal laws. And millions of people up north of Nigeria share with Boko Haram the same aspirations for a country governed by sharia criminal laws.

Sometimes Nigerian soldiers do not even know who the enemy is.

Bros,

1. I no dey for many of the conjectures you put up here. Let's deal with facts and not fictions, figments, distortion, concoctions and manipulation of stories
2. Gen Kuti as any soldiers is not concerned with "civilian, or ethnic" affairs.
3 The North to the best of my knowledge had NEVER been in accord with Boko Haram, neither is the clamour for Sharia law an endorsement of Boko Haram.

Nigerian Army and their stupid way of communicating, even an active member of Nigerian Army can't understand the term which the man is being tried for.

If you want to communicate, then do not using ambiguous terminologies.

As far as i'm concerned, the man hasn't done anything wrong.

In the army, there's a term called "SCUTTLING". You destroy your heavy equipments when threats of being overrun is evident or when retreating in a disorderly manner. A brigadier General should be very well aware of this.

It is either negligence of duty, connivance with BH, sabotage of Army operations, Lack of tactical decisiveness or plain COWARDICE.

They didn't wanna call him the latter because it would raise sympathies from ethnic and tribal quarters in the Army.

Simply put, He is a COWARD. angry angry angry angry angry The thought not eating AMALA and EFOR RIRO should he risk his life for the North was very incomprehensible grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Most Seconded!!!

Slow thinking fellas think the Nigerian Army would blandly and boldly call him a COWARD and risk polarizing an ARMY that is already politicised, across ethnic lines.

No act of COWARDICE is greater than allowing your equipment fall into enemy hands. Little wonder i saw BH in possession of 102mm Pounders.

In the military, your rifle/weapon is the next most important thing after your life. You might loose your foot, an arm, an eye, your duffel bag, entrenching tool, your FRAGs or SHOCKs but never your weapon.

The 21 soldiers were charged with M_U_T_I_N_Y, had to spell it out for yo, lady

And judging by his tact of abandoning weapons, i personally, am of the opinion that he was admitted into the Nigerian Army through RUNZ and connexion. No shooting range training, no PIG/HUMAN CADAVER CRAWL to steel his nerves, nada. He was just jacked up to the rank of a Brig. Gen, promoted beyond his functional capacity.

I've always reiterated that Nigeria's problem revolves around ; putting the wrong people in the right place and at the wrong time..................
