Yes it has IR, dat why it can control AC and TV as a remote.
Between J7 and M5, I suggest you compare the spec and price, absolutely gionee win. And also gionee prefer to bring products with affordable price and premium quality

PLS how does Gionee define heavy usage Cos my Gionee m3 just uses like 6hours with H+ usage non stop and too bad it doesn't charge up to 100% again, it stucks at 88%. So they say m5 can be used for 4 days heavy usage?? How true?
