Its better he retire now and concentrate on club footy. Age is not on his side cos hes 35yrs (real age).
He will be remembered for his performance at AFCON 2013.

Wish him more success in his future endeavours.

Thanks Emenike.

You people can lie. Which Oliseh? The one that did not miss any camping or game during his time? The one that started for Super Eagles as early as when he was 17? The one that was good so much that could make the coach to bench Steven keshi?

Which Mafia? When it comes to indiscipline , you cannot mention Oliseh, you van mention Amockachi, Steven Keshi, Okocha, not Oliseh. The only time he had problem with Nigeria was when he became the captain and the team asked him to present their career to the authority. No motivation, no support, etc from the FG and the minister of sport was angered and the end is story .
What!olishe join eagle at 17(lie) olishe benched keshi(lie) Olishe that insulted a minister, olishe that fought siasia prior to Nig vs Italy match at us 94,olishe that fought victor Agali,Olishe that headbutted his teammate at Bochum and my friend tell me what do we call indiscipline.Olishe that led the mafia that made sure there wss friction between the us94 squad and Atlanta 96 squad prior to France 98.If i may ask you who is a liar now.

Oliseh has divided this team and they are all voluntarily retiring. This is not the way to go. Even if you want to build a new team afresh, you need promote teamwork. If every player is treated like this, nobody will play for this country. He should remember his days at the super eagles; harmony is the key.
Finally, I blame the members of the NFF; who have turned the NFF into a business ripping Nigeria off and denying us good football.
Bros I disagree with you on your submission ooo. Simply put. Emenike actually saw the threat from Odion Ighalo and Alex Iwobi ni oo after playing about 10 games without a goal for Nigeria.
Secondly, some players usually use National team call up to boost club chances ni oo like Mikel Obi. Besides do they play for Nigeria for free? How much is minimum of $5000 per match in Naira pls

Bros is this how you describe a player who was declared unfit to play against Senegal in the Semi finals of GHANA-NIGERIA AFCON 2000 after being diagnosed with MALARIA but forced himself on the coach to play and eventually rescued Nigeria from the hands of the Senegalese? We also saw how he went emotional by publicly shedding tears profusely after Nigeria eventually lost to Cameroun in the final at National stadium Lagos after the referee misjudged Victor Ikpeba's penalty kick that hit the cross bar and landed over the goal line but referee said no goal? What is more patriotic than that singular act?

Am sure something ain't well between this guys called "players" and the new coach Sunday Oliseh, how can enenike retired at his earlier age?... Well I just hope the Coach understand what the word TEAM means sha.

He has made his choice obviously Olise is result oriented that's why all these old cargos with left-over egos need to waka. The results have started to show already. Mine be say Olise must thread softly with the old guys as he does not want to disenfranchise them thereby roughling some feathers of his distractor. My five cents....Omo yi joooo!

Pls let us address what is happening in Eagles camp that made two players to announce their retirement from national team than telling us Ighalo or Iwobi are threat to Emenike and saying a player like Mike is using national team to boost his career then u are wrong bcs this guy has been found wanting in answering national calls even of recent he had problem with Olishe for not picking call and even in London he avoided Olishe.Once again let us talk on why are they retiring and i believe NFF w definitely address the issue bcs we can't allow our player either in form or off form to retire due to what is happening in the camp

When a team is not doing well, the coach usually gets the axe, it is usually the coach's fault for non-performance. So also it is the coach's right to make some decisions. It is his right to determine who to call to camp, who to become captain etc. These players are reacting in this manner because it is a Nigerian coach, they can resign all they like; Oleiseh is the boss, He is responsible for the team's failure so let him do it his way. It is for the players to respect the coach's way and follow him regardless.

REASON WHY EMENIKE CALLED IT QUITE

The Al Ain forward could lose his starting role in the Super Eagles following his uninspiring displays for the national team

Emmanuel Emenike’s role as Nigeria’s first-choice forward is under threat, Goal has gathered.

The 28-year-old who boasts of 39 international caps for the country aside from failing to score for the Eagles since October 2014, failed to impress in Nigeria’s recent international friendlies against DR Congo and Cameroon.

And he could lose his starting role to in-form Watford forward Odion Ighalo in next month’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Swaziland.

“Oliseh is disappointed Emenike has not justified the confidence he has in him," a top source close to the team said.

“He has been given his chance by the coach, who is now seriously considering Odion Ighalo to lead his attack against Swaziland next month.”

The former Spartak Moscow player last scored for Nigeria in the Fifa 2014 World Cup playoff against Ethiopia in October 2013.

Swaziland advanced to the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers on Saturday where they will face Nigeria after trouncing Djibouti 8-1 on aggregate.

The King’s Shield will hope to beat the Super Eagles over two legs in mid-November to determine which side will reach the final qualifying group phase.

There is a missing link between Sunday Oliseh and his players. As the coach of the team he need to bridge the gap and work for the common good of the team. The spate of retiring from National team is alarming and calls for serious attention from NFF. [b]
Re: Emmanuel Emenike Retires From The National Team by klax(m): 8:50am On Oct 20, 2015
What can we say now I guess all these is all about captaincy problem I think Oliseh messed up a little as per the decision of handing over the band to Musa this is going to cause disaffection among the players honestly I knew emenike hasn't be doing well of recent but he is still good and can still pick up

Well I wish oliseh the best but the truth is its not too good a situation at all.
