Our Client is in urgent need of a Female Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ACCOUNTANT
1. Prepare sales invoice and payment vouchers
2. Monitor accounts receivables and ensure compliance with stated credit limits
3. Monthly bank reconciliation
4. Maintain all necessary books of accounts, documents and records
5. Prepare financial reports
6. Manage office petty cash
7. Prepare payroll
8. Handle simple tax functions e.g remittance of PAYE
9. File all records appropriately
10. Report to head of accounts and act as effective backup
11. Other administrative and HR duties as required by management

Qualifications/Experience
1. Relevant degree in Accounting or business
2. 1-2 years’ work experience in same or similar position
3. Professional qualification/ training will be an added advantage
4. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and word
5. Good written and oral communication skills
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure
7. Analytical mind
8. Ability to work long hours and on weekends when required

• BSc in Accounting (Second Class Upper and Above).
• Candidates who have passed at least one level of ICAN or ACCA will be given first consideration.
• Candidates must have 1-2 years working experience as an Accountant
• Applicants should be within the range of 22-25 years old.
