If this is true, then a lot more senators are more united with Saraki than I thought. How did he get them to agree
Don't be surprised when over 100 senators pass another vote of confidence on him.

This is Nigeria...the more change 'they' espoused the more same of the same it becomes.

This is why Saraki needs to resign or at least step aside to attend to the corruption case brought against him. Senate as an institution is bigger than any individual. Saraki cannot be preventing the senate from sitting and carrying out its constitutional responsibilities simply because he wants to attend to a case which is personal to him. This is totally unacceptable.
When is your Dullard from Daura going to resign for his FALSE declaration of assets huh

How do you know the Senate has made no returns to the president? Did the constitution say he must be confirmed within 21 days?
if u are following the screening u will know that the Senate has only made 18 returns out off 21 names submitted on the 30th of September. meaning that 3 names are uncounted for.

Amaechi is in serious trouble. The senate leadership is ready to battle the executive till the end on the CCT brouhaha. I pity the nation, APC will destroy this country
If after 21 days after the submission of the list of ministerial nominees, the Senate fails to takes steps to confirm the any of the nominees, such nominee stands confirmed. That's what the constitution stipulates. They can keep on wasting time for all I care.

I bet to disagree.... it's a smart move by Saraki camp to cover some shame....It won't speak well for Ekweremadu to preside over screening of APC government lead ministerial nominees.
Although it is a shame that an individual is holding entire institution.. even the whole Nation to ransom...everything has to wait for himhuh this is unacceptable.... He should resign!
And the olodo General that took months to nominate ministers should then do what? undecided

the truth is that if by Thursday he isn't screened and confirmed/not confirmed, then by Tuesday next week being ,,27th, he is constitutional cleared.
21 working days my dear. That would be some day in November

We don't want peace we want justice. The cct may decide to extend the trial to nxt week if they dim fit so senate sitting in this regard can resume in 2050 if they so wish. Of what benefit has their sitting every been. One thing i know for sure is this saraki saga and episode will redefine our nascent and home grown type of demonstration of crase or crazy demonstration which every is applicable.
Re: Senate suspends plenary till thursday: Acting clerk Nelson Oyewo by Ghandi12: 8:33pm On Oct 20, 2015
Senate plenary shifted to CCT premises; Expect Senators loyal to corruption at CCT tomorrow. I hope APC leadership are keeping records of Senators that must not come back on APC platform in 2019. And if your Senator is supporting corruption at CCT its time for you to start grooming their replacements ahead of 2019.

I trust that North-West Governor will not forget a single name and he will see to it they all get proper treatment 2019.

Re: Senate suspends plenary till thursday: Acting clerk Nelson Oyewo by bashydemy(m): 9:06pm On Oct 20, 2015
PMB should just swear-in the already screened nominees, Atleast we have about 20 of them that have been screen and confirmed. About Ameachi he will be swear-in after 21 days of submission..
Re: Senate suspends plenary till thursday: Acting clerk Nelson Oyewo by VirginFinder: 9:13pm On Oct 20, 2015
The ibo slave CAN NEVER be allowed to preside over the senate even if it's for a split second.

hahahahahahaha

ibos, you see your life?
Re: Senate suspends plenary till thursday: Acting clerk Nelson Oyewo by mu2sa2: 9:15pm On Oct 20, 2015
l don't know why people are even wasting time watching/following the so- called screening. lt's obvious that none of the nominees will be rejected. Saraki knows that he doesn't have the luxury to reject anyone of the nominees because of his own precarious position on account of his criminal trial.
