The judiciary is thoroughly compromised going by the above tribunal judgement. The Governor ought to vacate office as he does not have 25% in 2/3 of the LGAs in Akwa Ibom, since election in 18 out of 31 LGAs has been nullified. I wonder why the tribunal gave this timid verdict to rubbish democracy!

I think APC has a constitutional right to defend itself through the law court instead of taken law into their owe hands. It's part of change to use constitutional means to get right and not other way round. I think no body in his/her right sense would fight things done rightly and constitutional. Please my advise for you now, is if you have the opportunity to fight for your right legitimately, don't do that and sell your birthright like Esau. Some people are blaming APC or wondering why they are going to appeal without considering this case from a rational point of view.

If the tribunal can cancel the elections held in 18 local govts our of 31 (more than half of the total number of local govt) because of voter disenfranchisement, meaning that voting did not take place or people were not allowed to vote, then they have no reason to countenance or uphold the elections held in the other 13 local govt.

If a supposedly non-partisan election umpire can declare results in 18 local govt without election properly taking place, then the results declared in the other local govts are also automatically tainted. Even if voting took place in those 13 local govts, what's to say the right results were announced? An INEC who messed up 18 local govts has no business being believed in the others.

The tribunal should have nullified the while election and ordered a fresh rerun in the whole state.

Your point has no basis because before the court singled out 18 out of 31, it means the whole 31 was considered and found issues with 18. You wouldn't know more than the court would you?

APC went to court on the ground that the election was not conducted in substantially in substantial compliance with the provisions of the act and were able to prove that convincingly (as held by the tribunal) in 18 local govts out of 31. What more does the court need? The law is trite that when an election is not conducted in substantial compliance with the act and the petitioner has so proven, it has to be cancelled. - Buhari v INEC

Now, Mr Lawyer, can an election which was found to have been rigged in 60% of the state be said to be in substantial compliance with the act? Incredible! An election which was 60% rigged cannot be said to be a valid election in contemplation of the electoral act.

The petitioner had clearly discharged the duty placed on him by the act and the consequential orders made by the court is clearly erroneous in law. It is rank injustice!

you can keep on deceiving yourself, you and his points are based on speculations. Per adventure indeed...so you don't know at your age that appeal courts can only consider within a judgement and not outside it? How will they consider 31 local government when the judgement they are contesting is 18 local governments?

Nigeria as a country was built on wrong foundation, even the British, US knew that Nigeria will break up one day. UK has 4 countries in it, eg Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Island, then ask yourself why they cannot be one country like Nigeria, USA has all it states operating as a semi independent country, immigration law in Texas is not the same with California, China has Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet and Macau as part of China which are all semi independent, without confederation in Nigeria there will be no peace, Nigeria need to go back to Aburi peace accord, Nigeria will never be a progressive country because Nigeria is made up of irreconcilable entities that cannot align, Nigeria suppose to have 5 countries eg Arewa, Biafra, Midland, Oduduwa and Niger Delta under confederation just like UK, China, Netherlands etc, without this Nigeria will never know peace.
