For the supposed lion of Ubima to have gone through this ruffle, tumble, and embarrassment just to be a mere minister in aa government he enthroned, it get to show that PDP is a force in this government. What's remains of a wounded lion if eventually she got a fly as a prey? |

Pdp is hopeless. If amaechi is not fit to be a minister because of petitions on a case of corruption, why then is saraki fit to be senate president and supported by the pdp since he too has an existing corruption case in court? 4 Likes |

“Politics remains a game of number and as at today,
the APC has the ace in the Senate. Nobody can take
that away from us. PDP senators or the party itself
cannot stop the confirmation of any nominee because
they remain the opposition in the chamber.” I love dis lines, cos it settles it all! 1 Like |

I am ashamed that the hope of this generation (Nigerian youths)are the most stewpid set of people. Ability not think is likened to a mad man who runs after his shadow. If ameachi has corruption charges;how does that relate to the legislative functions of the the senate? Does the kangaroo court in river state competent to try him? If yes, was ameachi afforded fair hearing? Whether wailers like it or not ameachi is already a minister. You quote ♍ε̲̣̣̣ to shame yourself at your own risk: just a notice for the wailers. |

This is the height of hypocrisy if Akpabio's EFCC case, Saraki's CCT trial,Tribunal nulification of Buruji, Obanikoro Ekiti Gate Scandal/Indictment were of no effect what is now peculiar with that of Ameachi? I guess because he sent GEJ back to Otuoke? #wailtilldeath |

the earlier the pdp realised that they are opposition and they can only have their say. not their way, the better for them. obanikoro and aborisade were both confirmed despite opposition's stance against them |

Why do I have this feelings that there is something behind this Amaechi's screening that is tied to saraki's case with cct. This people are just playing chess with our heads, as e dey now self I don dey loose hope for the fight against corruption campaign. Baba don compromise or maybe him no strong enough. Corruption don dey beat am. Abeg if Im no go fit, make Im kukuma tell us, make we resort to jungle justice to take wage this corruption at the level wey edey so. Because me self I no fit afford beging raise Pikin for naija under this kind govt. If Im grow ask me wetin I do during my time to fight corruption, wetin I go tell am? Abi I go tell am say I vote buhari with the hope say Im go fight corruption make naija better... I try? Even you reason am na, I get tell my Pikin something when him grow, so if I no fit ACT now, at least make I begin TALK before my Pikin go grow call me coward. I no trust this children nowadays, I dey fear them. |

Isn't Akpabio himself facing EFCC due to corruption charges? Infact, who amongst the senators and past governors is not being investigated over one corruption allegation or the other? Silly leaders |

Leaders need to come into government with Fear- not only of God(which is optional for the corrupt) but also the compulsory Fear of the People which is brought about by an evolved culture of probity , stringent accountability and capital consequence for default. The onus is on Nigeria People to create and nurture such a progressive culture which is the hallmark of every developed global economy. 1 Like |

There's nothing left in this country.....You will nominate and appoint a man with charges bordering on corruption and embezzlement of public funds a minister of The FRN because you have the numbers to do that not minding the voice of the masses....APC is nothing but a party of rogues. |

Eh eh eh, I laugh in Swahili! Most, if not all, of the PDP Senators insisting on the 'biased and thoroughly compromised' Ethics Committee Report are very corrupt, election riggers and men of doubtful integrity! They have no moral credentials to oppose Amaechi! Akpabio is chatting with EFCC, Stella Oduah has a pending corruption case on her neck, David Mark abused his office in perpetrating financial recklessness in the Senate and by Jonathan government, especially in 'Abba Moro-gate' immigration recruitment scam, Jonah Jang claimed dubious victory on '16 is greater than 19' at the Governors' Forum election in 2013, and many others! They should also go and clear their names first before coming to crucify Amaechi! A bunch of discredited PDP Senators cannot hold Nigeria to ransome! Amaechi must be confirmed! |
