The most beautiful girl in Nigeria (MBGN) contest finals is going on right now in the beautiful city of calabar. 37 ladies representing every state of the federation and the FCT battle for this crown.

Here is live commentary from the event:

7:00 : The red carpet is declared open as dignitaries are being interviewed

7:10 : The event is officially declared open, and the national anthem sung.

7:20 : Opening dance by the contestants in their traditional attire.

7:40 : The hosts of the event introduced (chris and vixen)

8:00: Judges introduced as the contestants appear in their swim wear.

8:05: Contestants dance to laye by kiss daniel, showing a new shoki and shakitibobo style. A show of what they learnt in camp.

8:08: A show of the contestants' calabar experience is beamed.

8:20: Address by the Governor of Cross River State
