Played decent but just no killer instinct people are scared to shoot, people are scared to take on their man. The default move with this team is to get the ball and make a backwards or sideways pass. I don’t understand this mentality. Rooney and Mata were terrible and were basically our two worst players on the day. Our defense however was superb all through the game. Valencia, Rojo, Smalling, Schneiderlin and Jones were all very very very good.
They looked assured, they looked composed and they looked very very solid. Of our forward players, the only one that looked half dangerous was once again Anthony Martial but he was constantly being doubled up out wide and couldn’t influence the game as much because Rooney were busy being shocking in the middle.
As far as our subs, I thought Lingard and Fellaini were good once they came on. Would have liked to see Memphis though and I have a feeling that if not for Valencia’s injury, Memphis might have come on. Overall, it was a pretty boring game and considering City were without Aguero AND Silva, it is quite disappointing that we didn’t win this.

very boring game mata was running like a cow rooney was hopping like a frog and martial to me really had a bad game he was realy poor i dunt see anitin hapenin puting him on the front he could have been worst cause was no match for kompany due to the fact that rooney was packaged by him to me mata need benching to get is as back it was only schenchtiger that was impresive
