Good day nairalanders, I noticed that in getting a lecturing job in nigeria,often times the phrase "candidates must have am msc and proof of application for PhD" is included in the job requirements. My question reads thusly... 1. If I do have proof of application for PhD degree in a foreign university and the job I'm applying for is in nigeria. Will they allow me to leave for 3yrs for the phd if I'm given the job. 2. Or must I do my phd in nigeria where I can easily shuffle betwee work and my degree before I will get the job. ...Thanks folks! |

Padraic:I'm in your shoes bro but I just made up my mind to do it in Nigeria since I'm going to be practising in Nigeria. Saves me troubles of accredited issues!!!! Hope this helps?  |
