Why is Gov. Okowa afraid to loose his seat? The so called #3billion is even enough for him to do the rerun election if the tribunal ends that way.
Abeg wia den dey carry dis money self grin
Its sad that a state like delta with its naturally endowed physical and human resources is so backward, the people should hold their leaders responsible for the sorry state of affairs.

am still waitng for sahara reporters to tell us what happened to nassarawa state tribunal.
a case where all the respondent witnesses testified in favour of the petitioner and also inec that suppose to defend their works withdrew their witnesses from testifying knowng fully well it was beyond their capability but at the end when we all thought mr abuser and oppressor of ladies was about leaving the seat of power. but all of a sudden the tribunal judges struck out the case for LACKING MERIT!

why is buhari so insensitive and playing to the gallery?
why victimise the opposition?
why is he hell bent on desecrating our nascent democracy?

The election is delta state and rivers in particular was not free and fair at all, proper case against the election will see those election being nullify and I ll be happy. Its about time d pple of niger delta decides who governs them and not some selected few, only then can the warefare of the land be a priority and we can hold them responsible. Power belongs to the people. Lets demand for free and fair election.

Why not have a rerun of even all elections in the country, from Presidential to Ambode's so-called victory, to Ikpeazu and Orji's in Abia, and those from Northern states that used and allowed school children to vote. The targeting of AKwa Ibom, RIvers, and Delta-Delta for that matter with this propaganda, is all for what?

Northern dominance of the country with Yoruba support and the usual Igbo vs minority divide and rule for the East/Midwest. I guess the coup plotters and their supporters aren't comfortable with 7 Igbo govenors and supporting Eastern governors and the renewed unity of the Eastern and Midwestern folks.

Too bad PDP in places like Ebonyi and Abia are thuggish, who's governors and former governors are nothing, ditto their silence as APC nominees for ministerial positions just came and went without serious challenge
People like you is the reason why this country cannot move forward. But you admire white man's country and wish to be part of it.

I really don't like the way president Buhari and the Apc is hounding all PDP governors in the oil producing states out of there seat by this bleeped up judiciary we now have in this dispensation, why not rerun Yobe? Nassarawa? Lagos? at least there Whr evident fraud in the elections conducted there and witnesses has even testified clearly in court only for the judges to uphold the victory of the APC Governors cause they in the ruling party,GEJ for one nva influenced elections tribunal judgement... but then again on a second thought Great Ovedje Ogboru won Delta state Election clean and clear but the result was already decided before the election, am a Deltan and was on ground through the campaigns to the elections

What evidence has you got to show that the so called kids voted for any particular candidate?
That's why or the reasons the lawyers never used such an issue to prosecute their cases especially when the PDP governors were in charge during the period of voters registration.

Any politician that refuses to play ball with Sahara reporters is finished. I must say Sahara reporters are really prying on the minds of Nigerians who love emotional sensations devoid of logic. Sahara reporters strings the emotions of Nigerians like a good guitarist while leading them to a pre determined goal.

Good job Sahara reporters. I first Respect and acknowledge people who are good in what they do.

To me, i feel like elections in Delta state are usually arrange, even before election they would hv already choose who will win with or without d elections taking place, d wishes of d people does not matter to them.
Am not surprise by this news
It is kinda so because Delta state (my wonderful state) is a one party state, (James Ibori and the Urhobos made it so because they wanted to keep dominating the state). Only PDP exist there, so anybody that gets the PDP ticket is as good as won in almost all the cases. The only opposition that existed in the state was powered by Great Ogboru but that structure collapsed and he moved to a PDP friendly party, Labour. But unfortunately, he disappointed everybody in 2015 by playing Ethnic/tribal politics. He campaigned with the Agenda of the Urhobo Nation rather than a pan Delta Agenda as before.

As for APC, IT JUST DOES NOT EXIST IN DELTA STATE. It was their victory at the Presidential election that helped them garner the merger 50000 or so votes that they got in the governorship election. Who is Emerhor in the politics of Delta state to even win a House of Assembly or Chairmanship election. No wonder Ogboru refused to step down ...for a political newbie.

All these gragra is SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HATE HAVING AN "IGBOMAN" AS THE GOVERNOR OF "THEIR STATE" but God pass them...

Looks like IQ is something your family compound, in addition to not having light, has in small quantity.

When did Okowa say he is afraid? Who says the article is true or he is guilty of anything? Did he stage coup and jail folks illegally? Did he expell millions of Africans out the country illegally?

But we all know who did..
If you know who chase millions of Africans out of Nigeria then, you should mention it because we already know Alhaji shehu shagari do so in 1983 when he was a president
