what is boring is when you don't want to consider the opinion of people who have the ability to make or mar the country you want to form..by common sense I mean I simply mean that all Igbo speaking people should have a referendum in which at least a 70% yes vote would have to met before that area is allowed to form the country..after that the country would now look at strategic ethnic groups that are willing to join the country after their own referendum after a similar percentage had to be also met before they are admitted..forming a country is not childsplay that is done with emotion or shallow regards of the components that are supposed to form that union.

Carnegianfan want an all Eastern ethnic unified Biafra like the 60's. But as my article suggest you will be making a big mistake to include some recalcitrant minorities in it. To succeed, first concentrate the ideals in all Igbo areas both in the SE/SS. Make sure areas with identity crisis support this movement wholeheartedly. Many Ikwerres are still pondering on this issue, but if you can assure them of their their interest and semi-autonomous status like (China and Hongkong), believe me the next batch of pro-Biafra loyalist shall emerge from that axis. The typical Ikwerre dreads the idea of becoming a minority in an Ijaw/Edo lorded Niger-Delta republic. When you strengthen your strongholds you can then go ahead to invite other minority group that willingly would love to join. But for now forget about the Edoid tribes and Ijaws.

I agree totally...the idea of me trusting someone, and then having that same individual stab me in the back is one i do not wish to entertain.
These minorities should be the ones reaching out to us, rather than the other way round...the earlier they convince themselves that they have a lot to gain by identifying with the greater igbo nation, the better for them.the era of endlessly appealing to them on the soundness and inherent benefit of identifying with our cause is over.
They need to come to that place of conviction by themselves.

I know you are from ebonyi..have some ebonyians gotten over the supposed ' Superiority attitude' other Igbo exhibit where they are? I hope you know the resolution of so called ebonyi elders during the last conference when regionalism was suggested? Let alone an independent country

My pleasure. Felt a burning need to set the record straight. Uniting all parts of Igbo territories is my greater motivation. I for once feel that the Biafra agitation is carrying a whole lot of baggage and it time we alight these loads.

There is a grand conspiracy by Arewa-Oduanistans to define Igboland like they did in 1970, the Ijaws are like Hyenas hoping to benefit from that conspiracy.

The Igbo must resist every attempt by these hawks and hyenas to define our territory for us, doing that will be tantamount to conceding defeat before going for a fight.

All parts of Igboland must be affiliated to Biafra, the worst case scenario is that they will become our Taiwan and Hong kong.

But we must not cede any of our traditional territory to the Arewa-Oduanistans in Nigeria or Ijaws in Niger delta.
We wait and plan better, if we must.

But after pondering on it. I saw it was a perfect plan and started preaching on it.

Even with the China and Hong Kong model, you could still see a sense of Chinese patriotism in the hearts of the Hongkongese. Since the Ikwerres and few other minorities fear domination and competition, then the Chinese model is the best bet for a united Biafra. They control their economic, cultural and political activities while Biafra controls both the defence waterways, immigration and aviation activities. In Hong Kong and Macau you've tiny island fighting to protect its colonial identity. Ikwerreland is twice Macau, so who says the one indivisible Igboland cannot be achieved.

Exactly. Not a plot of land belonging to any Igbo speaking group will be left for the hawks( Arewa-Oduanistans) or the hyenas( Ijaws).

We make whatever concessions the Igboids want, to make sure they are affiliated to Biafra, we sign whatever international/ UN supervised treaty they want.

In years to come after Biafran independence, they ( Igboids) would have seen that we have no plans to Lord over them, and would voluntarily vote for greater participation in the Biafran nation, if they don't, we let they be as they were, like China let Taiwan and Hong kong.

That's our best play.
