Ace Comedian, Julius Agwu, has openly said that he has re-dedicated his life to God after surviving a brain surgery.

According to him, God has given him a second chance to life after he was pronounced dead by doctors after a seizure he went through.

He has said he was going to lead a practical Christian life from henceforth.

In a recent interview, he made it known that as a man that has re-dedicated his life to God, he would be opening a Christian nightclub at Lekki in two months time.


The name of Julius Agwu’s club will be Believer’s Lounge (The Tabernacle).

He said there will be no alcohol and smoking in his lounge.

The Comedian is also going to launch a TV show which he calls C.E.O (Christian Executive Outreach).

I agree with you. Look at what you said 'gathering of saints'.......not 'going to club of the saints' or 'nightclub of saints'. The two words- christian nightclub....contradicts each other. Not even something like 'All night meeting of saints' or 'all night programme for christians'........
I know Julius Agwu's purpose and intention is for good of christians but the word NIGHTCLUB is somehow not pure. I may be wrong sha.

It seams he's looking for another means to make money through religion. Next thing he'll open a church.

In Nigeria, there are four options to hit very big;

1. Owning a mega church and extorting money from id*iots through "deliverance", selling a well water as "holy water', pepertrating fake miracles and seeing fake visions. Bathing married and praying for st*upid women while lying on top of them are included.

2. Going into music with your autotune (as you've a terrible voice and can't sing), singing sh*it lyrics over good beats and making crappy music videos. Id*ots will buy your crappy music and make you a millionaire overnight.

In Nigeria today, there are more "musicians" than musicvbuyers.

3. Go into politics and stealing as much public funds as possible. Kill your opponents and critics. Before your term finishes, are already a multi-billionaire like Obasanjo, who only had 25k naira in his bank before he became president.

4. Become a kidnapper. Kidnappers are the richest in the underworld. Kidnap corrupt politicians and make billions within a year.

This man is a big fool. because he has survived a brain surgery and d best way to appreciate God is to open a christian 9tclub.How is he going to stop pple from commuting sins there? If he wants to go into 9tclub business like J J Okocha and others he shud go ahead and venture into it, nobody wil blame him. A man can not fool God but himself. Once had that idea, but money no de; I named mine Christ Cafe; it won't feature fast tempo gospel songs, so songs like "Morire gba",Igwe or kosobabire is not to be expected. It will only feature groovy,soul lifting songs embedded in music genre's like jazz,R&B, soft rock, soul and afro beat, it will also feature comedy, poetry and spoken words and all will be done live, no demo, no dj and it will and must be holy and acceptable in the sight of God. Christ Cafe, I pray my dream come to pass one day. O by the way no alcohol will be served, just tea, coffee, soft drinks, pastries etc.......

I like to see the christian nightclub concept same as praise night we hold in our respective churches. Julius may even offer to bring spirit filled gospel singers to perform from time to time. Its always good to relax in the atmosphere of worship unto God, great things abound therein. I can already imagine myself munching on small chops(if it will be sold there), and sipping a glass of non-alcoholic chapman while dancing and booging to intense high praise songs. This is a welcome development for me hands down! #DropsMic

Why night It not a bad idea for it to be a club but the fact that it is night made it worse... what happens to evening fun and they go home in the night or before night falls and not coming to club in the night, and going home by midnight...

Not a religion-ist but at least, we know late night walk is bad.
