I ran out of credit not long ago. I decided to use MTN Xtratime service in order to top up my credit to make an important call. I selected the option of N50 credit, Lo and behold! I was given N500. First, I taught it was a bonus until I got a service msg that: Y'ello! Your account has been credited with NGN500 MTN XtraTime advance which will be deducted from your next recharge. A service fee N50.0 has been deducted for this transaction. Thank you!. Am not even eligible to borrow such amount in the first place. I am sure the 1.4trn NCC slammed on them is hitting them so much and all of us will be made to pay in one way or the order. Pls, be careful before you use any of their service options, even calling 180 might soon be attached with charges. 1 Like

that is just the beginning of the worse to come... MTN data that i normal use for my phone that would ordinary last between 3-4wks has "vanished" after one week. |

MTN is a profit oriented business organization, if government steal from them in d name of fine, they will definitely steal from the subscribers to make it up, or better still cut production and distribution cost by sacking their staffs.. Either way the masses will suffer it.. |

SINCERELY ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTION(s) OP...... What deduction have been made from your line ? and two do you determine whether you are eligible to use the xtratime service or how much you are eligible to borrow ? Where you not aware of the 10% charges on the amount you are eligible to borrow which is the same C & T on all other networks. Anyway I know your types on Nairaland....
