A Letter to Nigerians on Buhari's 6th Month in office Dear Nigerians, It appears our decision in march is turning out to be a nightmare, a bizarre situation where anyone who even dares to complain is tagged a Wailer. As "Wailees" we must never shy away from asking genuine questions for the good of our country and the development of our people Here are 13 questions we must ask. The APC, General Buhari, his supporters and indeed ourselves 1. Why has Buhari refused to provide a clearly defined economic policy direction for Nigeria, despite visible evidence showing increasing loss of confidence In the nation's economy 2. Why has the APC and General Buhari chosen to run the nation without a the constitutional Federal Executive Council for sixth month now 3. Why has the APC led administration resorting to the reckless use of State coercive establishments particularly the DSS against INEC, Tribunals and perceived enemies a situation it decried as an opposition party 4. Why Is President Buhari treating the South East (5%) as a Lepers colony ,and Southwest as a conquered territory by domiciling 70% federal public office appointments in the north. 5. Why has Buhari chosen to ground major government activities ad blatantly refusing to pay some categories off Fed civil servants and NNPC casual workers, why did he sack thousands of Immigration and DSS cadets who committed no offence? 6. In bringing Retirees to Man the DSS and Customs is Buhari saying he had not found any serving officer worthy? 7 . Is the refusal to pay contractors handling ongoing Federal roads and projects and the failure to award a single public interest project( roads, education, health, rail, aviation, water, agriculture, etc due the absence of FEC part of the APC agenda 8.What has Buhari done with the over $ 4.5 Billion(900 Billion plus) Naira he as so far allocated to the federal government from Federation Account because there is no evidence of the change he promised anywhere!! 9. Why is Buhari implementing outdated foreign exchange control measures that is leading to the proliferation of hard currency black markets and hard currency smuggling cartels following blanket ban placed on international currency exchanges. 10. Is the continued detention of Mr Nnamadi Kanu of IPOB without trial not a violation of the Section 315 of the 1999 Constitution as amended? or are we seeing Re-introduction the of Decrees No. 2 and No. 4 of 1984 through the back door? 11. Despite his promise to wipe out Boko Haram I 2 month it's now Six months and over 2000 citizens have perished in the hands of Insurgents , the Chibok girls saga which your party promoted are no where in sight? 12 Security was General Buhari's top Priority However the last six months have witnessed massive kidnapping of low, Middle and high profile Nigerians, fulani herdsmen are destroying communities with reckless abandon is this the security you Promise 13 Why has he not started the Feeding of primary school pupils ? Why is he reneging on the payments to unemployed youths as promised during the campaigns? Since he preferred oldies in his cabinet is there any hope for young people in his govt? It's November and no supplementary budget or 2016 budget is before the National assembly Fellow Nigerians we must start asking questions before its too late God Bless Nigeria God Bless General Buhari God Bless APC Concerned Young Nigerian

reading...... done reading let me answer them from how I've seen things going, not as an APC member or PMB. my opinion 1- PMB is waiting for the ministers who are to resume this November. 2- clearing the system for a new start. new foundation 3- only PDP says that. if its about Rivers state, then its ok. 4- that right was given to him so don't complain. he had obeyed the constitution by nominating 36 people 5- no idea about that. 6- maybe he shouldn't have retired in the first place, hence his returned 7- getting more info about things. part of the cleaning process. 8- still intact. to be use soon. 9- that's your opinion not theirs 10- yes! this case is something else. 11- that's politics: use your opponent weakness as your strength. 12- no. 13- not in 2015 budget. wait for 2016. educate me where am wrong no insult because it will not help. cheers OP. |
