When I joined Nairaland years ago, front page was either a mix of current affairs/politics or insightful topics. Nowadays, it's gone done the drain. E.g Please who is interested in a DJ that wears mask . Hey, see what Ms Jagbajantis is wearing or if telling my girlfriend I have hairy armpit would harm our relationship.

I always thought the essence of different sections on Nairaland is to accommodate all kinds of topic; so if I want to read about Morgan Ikeji whom I have never heard of, I could head to celeb news if I desire.

I think Nairaland is deviating from its core values of being an informed forum and going towards mundane and irrelevant stuffs just because it wants wider audience, which isn't always better.

Nairaland, pls come back or else!!
