Gionee is set to launch the Elife S Plus phablet in India,it first appeared on there official Facebook page as a teaser on there upcoming device. The specifications was later released by some online leakers and market strategies. It came with a nice spec and pocket friendly if you reside in India.

According to the leak, the Gionee Elife S Plus is in the phablet class with a 5.5-inch 720p AMOLED display. Beneath the glass, you’ll find an octa-core MediaTek MT575, which is backed by 3GB of RAM and the storage capacity is listed at 16GB. Other features to note include a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, and Type-C USB charging. The dual-SIM handset will roll out running Android 5.1.1 and is powered by a 3,150mAh battery.

The Gionee Elife S Plus will boot Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the company’s home-grown Amigo OS on top, in its 3.1 iteration. The LTE-enabled smartphone will have dual-SIM capability and all of the above will be yours for $260.

more reason why Tecno should go back to the drawing board and re-strategized regarding the pricing of their phones. As we can see this phone have the same specs with Phantom 5 yet it will come cheaper by a whooping 20k.

Nice phone,I especially love the SAMOLED screen but @op there's nothing like Mediatek MT575 chip and I believe the screen is actually of a FHD resolution..
