If the flight is not part of the booking from Nigeria, it may be considered as an internal flight and you may be charged for your bags depending on the class of ticket you have. Your best bet is to verify your allowance on the AC website with your PNR or booking reference.
From what I am seen is like they will be additional 20cad to each 23kg. My fear is they told me they were unable to access my gtbank MasterCard. They send an email that they have help me to do the reservation why I pay when I arrived at the airport in person. Is this OK or I will arrive and hear my reservation have been cancel.

It is rare for an airline to keep a reservation beyond 2 or 3 days without payment. You could try booking with another bank's debit card and see if that works.

Hello.
I will be relocating to Winnipeg soon but some people say to get accommodation u most additional fee for damage. I have look through some Canada rent site but is only some fee accommodation that have such fee attach to it. My question is it all accommodation that u pay for damage on first rent or only the ones stated on this site.
I'm in Winnipeg, to rent accommodation you must also pay a damage deposit. It's half of the total rent and it will be returned to you at the end of your lease. Although if there are damages to the property at the end of your lease, the cost of damages will be deducted and you will be given the balance.

Try and use expedia.com, that is what I used. I tried booking directly with Air Canada but they were sending errors with payment with my First bank Mastercard, so I used Expedia to book the same flight with Air Canada and it went through and at the same cost.

Technically, there's no difference, but online is usually faster in processing and the procedure of applying is pretty straightforward. That's my personal opinion though

Hi All,

I have tried to google and search but couldn't find the answer. Could anyone tell me how well in advance of planned trip can one apply for a Canada TRV. Note I currently have one expiring in Dec but would like to apply for a new one before that one expires though my planned trip is for April 2016, planned February but I guess it is unrealistic due to the season (I hate winter). Do you think it far out or can I go ahead?

Urgent response needed pls...........

You are always advised by most consulates to apply for visa far ahead of your trip. Because there could be delays or administrative processing. They will simply cancel the Visa you have at the moment while the new one will start counting from the issued date.

My bro I wonder oo. I can't believe they could refused your kids despite your proper documentation, anyway I once had a similar experience of refusal for the purpose of visit even with my paid conference invitation with receipt. I suggest if the decision is no CLOSED application, you can make an appeal ... Best of luck.

My bill was $474,580. Later medicad paid for the baby and now my bill is $77800..which I was given a payment plan. Will it affect my Canadian visa. I submitted bank statement of 4million. Children birth certificate. Cac documents and husband permanent resident card. My salon flyer and consent letter from hubby. Is that enough

Sorry bro I was trying to say if the decision was a CLOSED application which the attached refusal letter will indicate, that means you will have to make a fresh application and if not CLOSED decision, you will be given option to appeal there decision which you will find in the letter enclosed. You can make a notarize appeal letter yourself addressing there reasons of refusal ,why they shouldn't have refused your application. Just return same documents back to them. If not make a fresh application and address the precious refusal with a letter... Best of luck .

If you appeal/Re-apply detail in concise terms your stated purpose of travel and why it is relevant to you. Also detail your Occupation, Position, Salary/Income, explain all salient issues concerning your occupation/Source of Income/Asset/Statement of Account/Ties to Nigeria. In other words convince the VO why he/she should believe you would return to Nigeria.

Include as many relevant supporting documents you think are necessary.

In my first application I was refused on the grounds of Travel History, Personal and Financial Asset. I did not appeal. I waited a while and reapplied attaching my old used passport with used visas, Stamped Residence permits and entry/exit stamps, property docs, multiple bank statements, pictures, Employment letter and many many more. I then wrote a detailed 2 page narrative clearly stating purpose of visit, current occupation, source of income, funds for the trip, Assets in Nigeria, travel history and Ties to Nigeria. With Subheading and paragraphs for each topic. I referenced all the attachments in the letter and enclosed a table of content and a table of Attachments

I got the visa
