this argument could be turned the other way round... why couldn't the church sacrifice their mundane rule for a member they so love or claim they do love even if not for the guy ?

He agreed to wed his bride there so if the rule in that place stipulate shoe removal them u remove ur shoe. The groom is a very stupid man . Ruin the day for ur wife to be because of stupid shoe cost 50k.

I am married. But didn't do any church stuff. The traditional is what the bible made me understand its mandatory. The court one is advised pending on the country you live. Some country. Court is recongnised as the only legal marriage. And the Apostles Paul said we should obey such laws as long as they are not opposing God's law.

Why remove shoes? May be d groom have bin warned also not to remove his shoes by his own pastor too on suspicion of being enchanted. A lot of things are out dere. One shld be careful

For instance, everyone knows Cherubim & Seraphim Church all over the country walk without shoes, even on the streets. Personally, I can't do that, and I won't even consider marrying a girl from the Church.
