Dear NL, I just entered final year after undergoing 6months IT programme in the second semester of 300L. Now my problem is I just discovered I have 2 Carry-Overs to Re-write again ,they are 3unit and 2unit loads amongs the 300l first semester courses.

Op considering your current gpa its very unlikely that you 'll finish with 2'1. The problem here is the 3 credit unit course that you failed which could make even the highest gpa to nosedive. But if after writing the CO and you are able to get A or B then that will definitely elevate your gpa and consequently 2'1 could be achieved. Op i wish you all the best.

op if your current cgpa is 3.55 on a scale of 5 and not 7, then u can definitely still make a 2.1. just give your best and make sure u get a good result from ur I.T report. that should act as a buffer for your carry overs. by the way, what course are u studying?

Thanks for the contribution. As stated earlier I still have about fresh 15 courses to write and a Project in this final year, don't you think if I made like A's and B's in about 10 of it and a good project score might make my dream come true?

Yes if you can have As and Bs in the remaining courses especially in the 3 crdt unit ones i think is very possible for you to have 2'1. You just need to be serious with your studies and pray to God.

cool! may God help ya. In my school statistics student are always likely to come out with 1st class, unlike the sadistic twin departments(maths dept. and physics dept.)

Firstly what is the scale of your schools CGPa.. Is it 7 or 5...I secondly, how do u attach grade to each level for example in Uniben first year is 10,second 20,3rd 30 final 40 percentage respectively. So if these methods are obtainable in your school and you re able to get a B or C in ur 3crediy weight CA then for sure, u re a 2'1 student putting into consideration that your final year result must be 4.0 and above. Goodlluck bro.

Thanks. We use 25% in all levels but I still have hope in hardwork and God.
Nigerian school is frustrating and not that when you finish from these Hell-fire there is job outside there. I am tired of life as a whole and Education.

LoL Thanks.That you have gf doesn't mean you won't do well in school as conji they say does not respect anyone... But I don't even socialise in school let alone having a gf, just a victim of circumstance as but this my first time having c.o in school.
