thats konga up there.it's quite common ,though mostly on products sold by *merchants/external sellers*.I have bought a lot of things on konga.I simply do a thorough research about the price of what I want to buy (Google),search for the lowest price possible on konga and also tick *sold by konga* to exclude greedy sellers from my search result and also get free delivery at times.then I check out.most products sold by konga itself have normal prices.the other sellers are the problem.konga should find a way of regularizing this. |

Kizeeto:But you called the seller a thief, why? nobody forced the buyers to buy. secondly. you do not have any right to dictate to people how much profit they should make. you do not know what led to the price increase(there might be so many reasons) besides if infinix or whatever company fix there price, how do you know you are not being ripped off. as you do not know the cost of production ![]() finally do not pretend to be nice as you are just full of hate. look at the time and energy you spent to investigate price differences of people trying to make an honest living and then making it seem as if its wrong. if you feel making small profit is the way to go... . . then good for you damn you will even get more customers but dont critisize others that have a different business idea. people like you are actually needed to help tackle all these big corporations that monopolise the whole system and stiffle competition like DSTV etc and not attacking poor people trying to make a living in this difficult nation. Ps: moderators should please sensibly put good things on the front page. this type of topic can easily spirral to something else. konga and jumia etc might not really be enjoying this. |

fexyrich:I didn't have choice than to just reply your ill comment. Your comment is a disappointment. Am ashamed of you. Your type are those that go all around Europe doing anything in the name of making money any which way;äs a result ,cutting down the chances of other seasoned and well meaning Nigerians. You should be in your late Thirties now(30's) by now,I guess, and your orientation is still very low, what a shame. And unfortunately, your type will open mouth to say Nigeria is not good that it's full of corruption. That Nigerian leaders are corrupt, this and that. Tell me,with the rubbish you put here as comment, do you ever think you can make this nation a better place even for yourself now and your posterity? Man, pls think like someone who is mature. Hyping price whether on online or off-line market platform, is totally bad and it should be frowned against. Don't cover for it by saying it's a market strategy. With the retail recommended price on any product. There is enough gain. Is like you don't understand that this thing will not only affect the buyers ,it will even affect the robber who call himself the seller, provided he's a Nigerian and he resides in this country. A vice observed and pointed to public attention by a well meaning Nigeria whose life shall be filled with joy and prosperity. Obviously, he(OP) doesn't deserve all the abuses you rained on him. Am very disappointed in you! Even a teenager will never ever have spoken the way you did. |

Thank God you mentioned sellers in your post. Usually people see the original price of an item available on the website yet they opt for a more expensive one with the hope of getting extra goodies. And you hear questions like what is the difference BTW the two? No agent will ever tell you its the price of which that is the only difference ![]() |

We are still struggling to make people embrace ecommerce, so we don't need thisnkind of analysis for now. If you walk in to the market in your town, you can't get a product at the same price from all sellers. It's left for you to walk around and buy from the seller offering the cheapest price. |

Is time SON start serious quality and pricing compliance to all these substandard phones in the market. There are better phones in the market. Buy a good phone and have rest of mind. |

Honestly, this post should have been done with better inquiries. Online store is just like a shopping mall, with many sellers. Each of the sellers pay a particular amount as commission to the company. Some company collect as high as 25% of the price you posted. Do the mathematics. If you a seller cost price for that phone is 13,000Ngn, and you decide to sell online for 15,000Ngn, deduct the 25% of 15,000 and see what your "profit" is...u re really in serious deficit. You can now see that the cheaper the cost price of your product, the cheaper the online selling price. Two people can buy same item from China, same company but different prices. Why? China usually consider quantity during pricing. Have you not discovered that prices of some commodities at shopping mall also varies...a lot of factors should be considered. The main reason for business isn't to make just profit, but to stay in business ( sellers takenote) |
