Wow! everything happened so fast. Incase you missed the previous thread. here is the link to it. https://www.nairaland.com/2707617/experience-uba-bank-must-read.

Here is the new development. I got a call from UBA headoffice. They explain what the customer care guy at my Branch failed to make clear to me. They said because the transaction was carried out on Access Bank ATM, that is why it took some weeks for them to get the transaction details, secondly First Bank is not working with them, First Bank said the only help they can offer is wait till the suspect comes to the Bank to do any transaction on his account, that is when he would be arrested. The issue is kind of complicated because the ATM is very close to my house and I use the ATM almost everyday, I even used the ATM on the said date when the unauthorized transfer was done. Yesterday evening, I got a call from UBA head office that Access Bank has sent in the footage that I should come and check it today, When I got to my branch today, I viewed the footage on the BOM computer and it was my pictures. This really make things so complicated and I the best bet for me now is to get the beneficiary arrested, with this the matter would be open and all hidden things would be let out. UBA headoffice really tried and I appreciate their calls from time to time. I have never experienced any issue with them since I started banking with them that is why I got mad at them for treating the unauthorized transfer issue lightly. At the end of the day, I got to know that they were waiting on Access Bank to get them the footage and First Bank to provide their customer. First Bank is shielding their customer, UBA has done their part (I am really Impressed), Access Bank did their's, now my fate lies on FIRST BANK NIGERIA. Fellow Nairalanders, please throw in your suggestions. I will keep updating the house as things unfold.

P.S: My accounts with UBA is still active, I will start moving my money bank into the account. I think my money is safe with them and my investment is safe with them too.

First Bank is shielding their customer, there is no way the police can arrest the guy.

A few options are available to you. This is a financial crime. Tell your bank UBA that since the matter is bogged down, that you will go to EFCC and the press. I still hold them responsible because an insider from their side activated that fraud.

U have already impugned the reputation of d bank, they then showed u one or two things, now u are shouting their praise while condemning Fbank.Do u know the kind of handicap Fbank also faces or d kind of effort they are making behind the scenes.
Nigerians are too gullible and too fast to pass judgement at the same time.

How am I too fast to pass judgement? I waited for 1 month and 2 weeks before coming on NL to complain. If it was you, how would you treat the issue?

if you can afford a lawyer, pls do that fast.
No corporate organization likes litigation(favorable or against) except they are pushed to the extreme or they think they see a loophole.
you can also involve the efcc, it's a financial crime which makes any party protecting the suspect to be criminally liable.
Lastly, due to the duty of secrecy owe to the customer, FB will never release the details of a customer to you or another bank except you use the law through the police(in some cases) or the court of law, or if it's in the bank(FB) interest or public interest, except you use an insider which the customer must not know about because FB will pay dearly for it.

It's because no financial agency has stepped in that is why FBN is acting funny. This is efcc case, at least let them use this one to flex muscle Since our polithiefcians have now become too strong for them to handle

I have told you what to do in the previous post as a former banker that is if your really need your money. it is a common case of card phishing device that has been inserted on the ATM of access bank. Trust Access bank won't want to accept the fault so send your footage. Gud Luck
