Gaskiya college, a school full of touts and cultists. I knew that school since I was a kid. My landlady's grandson used to attend that school in the early 90s and he was a troublesome maker on our street. We all feared him because of his cruelty; no one could control him except his father who was a retired soldier but he got tired of him at a point but never stopped beating him with iron rod and with his fist like a boxer. This boy was the weirdest and most stubborn person I ever saw when I was growing up. You would always find a kitchen knife or jackknife in his school bag which always made his grandmother (our landlady) to scream at him like "Papa! o ni pa mi ooo..." (Papa! you won't kill me ooo...). He was so weird that his favorite food was to mix garri, beans, rice, groundnut, sugar and water in a big pot and eat with a lot of excitement on his face. He was fondly called PAPA! Papa, wherever you are now, your apprentice has killed someone in your former school, come see. Amukoko area, I was once there!
