Here is a glimpse from a 2-day ministers-designate retreat at Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa. The two day retreat for 36 ministerial nominees who were recently screened and confirmed by the Senate recently kicked off today. It is also expected that the inauguration of the appointees would take place soon after the retreat.

For all good intent and purposes,I think for the first time in the history of this country, we have a leader who is frugral and wants to conserve resources as possible as he can,this is where the desired change will come from. However he must show us by any means possible that he wants to generate wealth as well by putting together a crack Economic team. He should follow the existing model from the previous administrations of getting a renowned Economists with an international experience,this is what drives investor confidence.

I only came to check the atmosphere of what the retreat was like. I had imagine since buhari said the nation is broke we wouldnt be seeing JAMBORES, and true to his words the fugality is there. Frm the empty tables i can obseverve i aint seeing a pure water sachet how much more lacasera bottle. Unlike the days of pdp where everything is budgeted in billions. Ths men arent saint and must knw their service aint to embezzle. Cos shi shi no dey. It still amazes me how anybody in 2015 will be picking issues with seeing pictures of activities from the government on social media.

Wake up. This is the era of twitter, Facebook, instagram and many more. Yes, maybe a decade ago you would have to wait till the next day to see these kind of pictures on the pages of newspapers. But today, any state house correspondent of any media house can take these pictures with a phone and share it on Twitter immediately. Bloggers can pick it up and spread it further within seconds.

There are many things one can criticize this present government for, but harping on pictures taken is just childish or ignorant.
