The FC Barcelona squad got quite the surprise on Friday — a day of fun at PortAventura, a theme park located to the south of Barcelona, the idea for which came from their head coach, Luis Enrique, and which was very well received by the team. The coaching staff’s philosophy holds that unconventional days like these are part of the team’s training. It’s not every day that a group of world-class footballers can enjoy a day of fun with their loved ones. Friday’s visit was to PortAventura, the most visited theme park in Spain and one of the most visited in Europe.
The park, which at this time of year is only open on weekends, granted the team special access.
