or should we say decieves itself into believing that crap about its special force, which in itself isn't that special when you factor in the standardization of force capability across all personnel which never goes a cut above the AK-47,a few magazines, a knife and your helmet......Maybe what will be special about this force is the marginal increase in morale stemmed from better welfare packages Or stimulant abuse or metaphysical belief.... Either way there isn't anything technically special about this Nigerian force...

I disagree.they are elite fighters.specifically the ones trained for fighting bh

Either way there isn't anything technically special about this Nigerian force...They cannot fight unarmed, highly ill-disciplined because most got their commission via connections via tribal or religious sentiments and are horrible shots (marksmen) infact a band of marginally trained Fulani herdsmen, miltia or that of bullion van armed robbers will give these Nigerian special group a bloody nose.

Give kudos to the military please. I wont hesitate to criticize if I see flaws but you will agree that BH that previously held territories in this country have been reduced and weakened considerably of late. They now resort to pocket bombing of innocent citizens

Lol.....Thank God, someone with sense. Almost everything Nigerian is mediocre except the food. Nigerians like deceiving themselves to the point of insanity.

You mean to tell me we did not have a special forces unit and had to quickly cobble one together in wartime? I hope not. Ivory Coast with an army of 6000 had a special forces unit of 2000.

What makes a force special is their proficiency in tactics , communication and equipments which are better than their opponents.

Though the report is propaganda to swell the ego of the APC led lying government, I still recognise the duty to exhibit patriotism by wishing our military success.
