The Nigerian Army has set up a media centre in Lafiyo Dole in Maiduguiri, the Borno State capital. This is part of its drive to keep the pubic properly informed of the counter-insurgency operation in the northeast. The Theatre Commander also extol on the role of the media in the fight against terrorism and insurgency. He described the media as key partner in the ongoing efforts of ending Terrorism in Nigeria. Gen Abubakar thanked all the media organizations for educating and informing the populace about the happenings in the Theater of operation.

What they need is intelligence...work on intelligence. Find out where boko haram is getting their finance from, and crush it. Find the major leaders and kill/jail them. This is the best way to go.
