Sometimes stats can't tell the whole story. Anyone who has been following footy for long should know this. Take away goals and assists from their games, and you still see Messi influencing games like there is no tomorrow. Same cannot be said of Ronaldo.

When we are speaking of great scorers, you can point to at least one solo goal. Pele scored many. Maradona scored many. Ronaldo de Lima scored many. George Weah scored many. Ronaldinho scored many. MESSI scored uncountable. C Ronaldo...none.
