No sensible unemployed youth will even support the idea of paying him or her #5000 monthly, what will that solve in his or her life for a month? What will it cater for? Infact many unemployed youths won't get the money as some oga at the top will sit fat on some of the money! Best is, create more Jobs for the teeming unemployed youths out there. There is a common saying that, don't give me fish, just teach me how to go about catching the fish myself.

You all quick to condemn a 5 months government are a pathetic lot.
You won't even give them a chance to make any attempt?
At this trying time, how do you expect a sane govt to implement a 5k for over 25m youths. That would sink the economy.
Anybody calling this government out on this is an hypocrite.
Well, you'al opinion don't count. People that voted this government are still optimistic.
I'm not going to pretend Buhari is a magician and start blaming him for poor performance of magic
u are a very big fool nd u will never knw.were deey blind wen deey made d promises?

Take a deep breathe and say after me"Its well with Nigeria".

Feeling better? cheesy cheesy
There's no frustration on my side I spend more than 5k each day but then there are people that 5k can take a long way. Just because you have it doesn't mean you shouldn't fight for those that doesn't. We should learn to hold our politicians by their balls

And you think hunger stricken Nigerians will listen to reason? The only way normal countries fund projects like this is through taxation. Will hungry Nigerians listen? No.

who are these Nigerians that will benefit? or are you going to pick at random? Even if they pay it for a few months, how do you sustain it? The only way countries like Germany and the U.S sustain it is through taxation. Does Nigeria have a viable tax system? There are so many reasons why the promise is not feasible, but Nigerians are too s.tupid to understand it.

Congratulations!! Your Hypocrisy now wears Agbada!! Did Jona promise anyone N5K?? Atleast the Second Niger Bridge started before Jonathan left office, where has Booooohari started from?? Even the ones championing change are now recanting but the jinxed ones who are extremely disappointed like you are still building castles in the air
Jonathan spent six years and could not complete the bridge he promised. Meanwhile, he prepared budget for 4-5 years, how many years has Buhari spent that you're castigating him? APC has said they would deliver their promise on the money. What else do you want?

But Nigerians are a funny gullible bunch. How can someone make all these promises and you don't bother to enquire how he intends to achieve the utopian promises.

Buhari and his APC govt should just own up and apologise to Nigerians on the propaganda of 5k for poor unemployed Nigerians. ....... Not like they would be forgiven but at least they might be viewed as getting serious with governance and less propaganda.

What database do we have to identify the poor and unemployed amongst us?

What logistics mechanism will be used to get the funds to the poor and at what cost in addition to the 5k?

In this period of low earnings and economic downturn, where are they going to source 6 trillion naira for a lame social welfare?

Now APC are being forced to fulfill their propaganda. amidst APC senators disagreement and Lai Mohd agreement. Very confused government. This is definitely not the right time to ask all these question, all the gullible Nigerian APC supporters should have asked themselves those questions before the election.

Politicians all over the world will say whatever they can to win elections. it is normal. That is why there are debates where they will explain how their promises will be met. It is then up to you to analyze from what the say if their promises are feasible. That is the process going on right now in America. Nigerians don't understand that.

We all know that the promise of N5000 monthly stipend and the payment of outgone but unemployed corp members are mere campaign rhetoric to deceive those that loved to be deceived. They are not feasible! Implementing them means sinking Nigeria economy.
My brother, we all knew that. We shouted ourselves hoarse, but the dumb youths wouldn't listen. Naija youths are the dumbest.

Somebody cracked your father's back with koboko 30 years ago, and you voted for him in 2015, really? The funny thing is that at their age, Buhari was already enjoying our wealth as a senior officer.

Ok, what was Buhari's personal achievement after he retired? Nothing. No form of improvement whatsoever.

The youths and Nigerians have themselves to blame. Bloody idiiots! embarassed embarassed embarassed

Dude most of the people here requesting for the payment of the 5k stipend don't really mean it. I guess they are out to hit on on APC so as to facilitate the creation of jobs fast. No abled thinking man would expect them to pay that whooping amount in fulfillment of their campaign promises. But I like the fact that people have woken up to reality to the gullibility of our politicians.
They must pay the 5k oooooo cheesy
