There was no conduct of primaries by APC in Imo State yet the Muhammadu Buhari's tribunal upheld the election of Okorocha. In fact, the report reaching us had indicated that Okorocha's son in-law was named not nominated as APC candidate Imo State. Nigeria is a joke and it seems worse everyday.

If that is right, then this verdict in Taraba is good for the PDP in Imo to make their argument. Don't you think so?

Buhari never had any certificate. He joined NA as a cadet with recommendation letter from his principal. If he had his school cert. he will present it and not picture of his school mate. people like him who joined NA went back to complete their school cert program. Buhari did not go back.

One thing that you people do not understand is the fact that APC did not go to court to challenge the result of the election (I mean the scores of the participants) but eligibility of the winner of the election. In sane party, one party member is expected to have taken up the responsibility of challenging his eligibility but because in PDP endorsement by leaders translates to winning. Even GEJ ran away from primary. Someone said Okorocha was also endorsed without primary. Well, tribunal cannot go into that because it was not on that basis that Okorocha was taken to tribunal. APC took Mr Ishiaku to court on eligibility ground and they (APC) were able to prove their points. So following Fayose argument, one will definitely miss the point raised by the petitioner. If there was insecurity in Taraba when the primary was expected to be conducted and was shifted to Abuja, what prevented the delegates to travel down to Abuja to have their intention known.

You can read it clearly that , one major reason was that the said PRIMARY was held outside the dedicated time for PARTY PRIMARIES. so the primary was conducted when the deadline has already elapsed. kajiko

Judicial Maradona

If inec says no candidates for PDP
How come PDP is on the ballot voting paper

In a true democracy majority rule.
Also a game of numbers

Since PDP has highest number of vote
They should be allow to rule in taraba

This means that taraba state will be govern by the minority

The state house of Assembly can easily pass vote of no confidence
On the governor

I will not be surprised if the court tell me one day that my mother is not mother again

This Doctrine of Wasted Votes get as e be o.
Almost 400,000 votes adjudged "wasted ", for whatever reasons, doesn't seem right for our democracy. So the minority will now be ruling over the majority. Something is wrong with this judgment and I hope the Court of Appeal sorts it out.

Election tribunal doesn't have jurisdiction to try pre election matters.
Election tribunal cannot declare the runner up winner EXCEPT if he/sshe had scored the highest vote at the polls.
To me, the judgement is totally flawed and will be upturned on appeal. Desperation is APC's sickness.

That is intra party matter meaning it can only be a subject of trial if a Pdp member complains.
aside that a runner up in an election cannot be declared winner if the highest polled candidate is disqualified, you call for a rerun.

Unanimous Endorsement of candidate is allowed as long as due process is followed and inec is properly informed. After all, even GEJ was endorsed.

You should read the submission of inec as it concerns the case of PDP and Darius Ishiaku, maybe that will give you a clearer picture of what happened at the tribunal

Even at that INEC was never notified or informed of the so called primaries in Abuja.From the post, INEC never had an observer at the wuruwuru primaries.Perhaps if the INEC witness had testified in their favour they would have won but I believe inline with PDP's addiction to recklessness they did abracadabra in their primaries and selected a candidate at Wadata or RitaLori nightclub.This is indeed a lesson to all political parties.Tell PDP to produce a video or even pics of what transpired during the so called Abuja primaries and they can't.Shame.

I respect yoruba Lawyers, I guess they are the best in Nigeria and the smartest. Law is not just about wearing rope and wig but presenting an indefensible case against ur opponent in court room. Look at litany of tribunal cases won in Nigeria and high profile cases the name of the lawyer in most cases must be Yoruba. PDP always hiring clueless and lousy lawyers. Get a smart lawyer and u will always get judgement in your favour simple. Even names don't win cases in a court room. Just like chelsea even the best lawyers do lose winning form.

Don't mind these people. They are jokers.
They ruled against PDP challenging the relocation of tribunal to Abuja on the ground of insecurity.

Rochas Okorocha contested for APC presidential candidate and picked up the governorship ticket few weeks to the election. Did they follow this process based for this decision in Taraba? Yet his election was upheld.

I beg PDP to challenge this to supreme court. Let's seal this at the court of highest jurisdiction as Judicial precedence.

One thing I know for sure. No matter how the judiciary allow themselves to be manipulated to lay bad judiciary precedent, it will come back to haunt those who did and come back to haunt our entire democratic process.

With the way things are going currently, Nigeria is in deep shit.
APC want to kill/weaken opposition completely after which they will become worse than what PDP was. And nobody nor party can challenge them and impunity will become theven other of the day.
Those celebrating the dead of opposition party in Nigeria are giving APC support to kill our nascent democracy.
The presence of strong opposition is what puts the ruling party in check in democracy.
