Goodevening people,maybe i am just being too observant but i discovered most federal universities in south east nigeria are attended mostly by people of south east regioń..compared to their counterparts in other regions,federal universities in the southwest can boast of huge igbo presence and other tribes talking abt the likes of UI,OAU,unilag and unilorin...even universities in the north has huge presence of igbos of other tribes, but that can be said about federal universities in the south east as they are mainly attended by folks of igbo origin,talking abt the likes of UNN,UNIZIk and MOUAU,even unis in nigerdelta can boast of huge igbo presence and other tribes
N.B-its just and observation,no tribal prejudice,tribal bigots this thread is not for you..lets discuss about my observation,thanks.

think of it this way, for igbos to have huge presence in other regions of the country, they are surely going to dominate their own land.

Igbos r strong willed and adventurous hence d saying any place you go and dont find an igbo man just know the place is not habitable. Well yorubas are jst comfortable with wat dey r used too hence they hardly venture out to new territories partly because they r terribly l*** . But for hausa dem no jst like school

Yes, that is very true. It is so mainly 'cos those universities are not as transparent in their admission processes like most universities in the south west. The like of those schools (UNN, Nnamdi Azikiwe Universities, IMSU etc) are more of tribalistic when it comes to their admission. Merit is Alien to them

that's not true. most people don't like to travel out of their territory

they prefer being local champions

maybe Yoruba and Hausa folks don't apply much over there...I would have love someone like that or rather much victims to have a say here...if any!...Yoruba's prefer to stay close.
