"Pres. Buhari Deserves A Place In The Guiness Book Of Records" - NFF President by faroukfahima(op): 5:33pm On Nov 09, 2015
Following the Golden Eaglets victory at the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, the Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari saying he's worthy of a bold mention in the Guinness Book of Records. Pinnick spoke in Santiago on Monday morning as he boarded a flight to Buenos Aires on the way back home from a success story at the World Cup.

He said;

“Yes, it is a success story as you just mentioned, but it would not have ended that way without the great support that the Nigeria Football Federation continues to receive from the President Muhammadu Buhari –led Federal Government. “

In fact, the Nigeria Football Federation is dedicating this triumph to President Buhari. He is a man of history. He was there when the first set won the trophy in 1985 as military Head of State; now he is here as civilian President when the Class of 2015 emerged victorious. Seriously speaking, I don’t think there is any Head of State or Government in the entire universe who has this honour, and for this, our PMB deserves a place in the Guinness Book of Records.”

Unity amongst Christians. Good job. Just as GEJ govt could not appoint the other 246 nationalities including Yorubas to top 10 posts in Govt so also is impracticable to have all ethnic groups in PMB govt.

Even though people cry of marginalization based on ethnicity but those who cry the most selfishly ignore the cries of other minorities who cannot even boast of a governor or a senator from their ethnic group. Oh I forgot...Might is Right!

that is thing! Nigeria is so complex that who ever put us together was absolutely mentally impaired or obviously did not care! the confab report and several other suggestions has been thrown away again... we give different areas regional autonomy, lets act as one when an external enemy attacks us but economically and policy wise lets be autonomous!

Or as I have said numerous time too, a direct democracy will suit Nigeria because every group has as much power as the rest irrespective of size! lets us take inspiration from Switzerland, because they are exactly tribally mixed as us in Nigeria!

Interesting. Pls read Ogoni people bill of rights. www.waado.org/nigerdelta/RightsDeclaration/Ogoni.html. They affirmed unity of Nigeria based on the conditions that will enable them to become the best in themselves. I sincerely implore you to read that and contrast with IPOB struggle as we know it today.

If IPOB is about struggle against glarring infrastructural-neglect hence separation, Igbos will have sympathy from millions of non-igbos. Just like Niger Delta.

but to start agitation in the wake of power transfer is a mockery of social struggles all over the world. Ojukwu got sympathy because of the humanitarian crisis in the east of 1967.

CONFAB was too little to late. I support fiscal federalism up to local govt level where you find minorities. Pls read American Declaration of Independence. From this, we must ask ourselves whether we have no obligation to sustain regional peace notwithstanding our ethnic right to self determination.
