This report get K-LEG, the question is did he actually collect the bribe? Or is it that someone just said he demanded for bribe which he refuse to give, if he was prosecuted then, what will have been the evidence to nail him since the bribe have not been given. GEJ knew the reason given by Adoke is not enough to warrant his removal from office.
It could also be that Adoke wanted him to dismiss the said case which Umar refuses.
