I came across the story below which occurred in South Africa about 3 hours ago. I can't help but wonder if this kinda of justice can be obtained in Nigeria where
1.Where police authorities would rather cover criminal activities of their officers.
2. Where police authorities would rather kill innocent peaceful protesters without blinking.

Mido Macia, a 27-year-old Mozambican, was arrested for parking on wrong side of road, dragged behind a police van and later found dead in his cell

Eight South African police officers have been found guilty of murdering a Mozambican man who died after being dragged behind a moving police van two years ago.

Mido Macia, 27, a taxi driver, died in police custody in February 2013 following his arrest for parking his car on the wrong side of the road.

Amateur video footage (warning: contains images that some may find distressing) published by the South African newspaper the Daily Sun showed Macia being manhandled, handcuffed to the back of a police van and dragged hundreds of metres in Daveyton, east of Johannesburg.

Just over two hours later he was found dead in a police cell in a pool of blood.

In Pretoria’s high court on Tuesday, Judge Bert Bam convicted all eight men captured on the video of murder, dismissing their defence that Macia violently resisted arrest and had assaulted an officer.

This is never possible in a country like Nigeria where inpunity is the watch word.

Nobody is asking question about the death of peaceful protesters gunned down in the southeast by happy trigger policemen.

Quote me wrong with an record of police convition that didn't involve the death of the rich and powerful

No hope for the masses in this country

It may not be your Business today, who said someone close to you may not be a victim someday.

I expect well meaning Nigerians to use cases like this to hold our judiciary and police authorities accountable to justice
