oh my dear! it has a lot of advantages. first of all, it sets you apart as a professional qualified to carry out quality control tests and ensure that products meant to be consumed in any form meet regulatory standards. you get to play an important role in safe guarding the health of people wink

out of all the professionals involved in the healthcare sector, public analysts are unique. you actually help to prevent calamities by taking steps to ensure that people don't consume what will kill them. if you do your job well, individuals might see no need to visit the hospital since what they consume is wholesome and good for their health.

it will be good to join, but I'll like to warn that being a public analyst restricts you to the laboratory (you become a laboratory professional, the only other kind in our healthcare sector). the world of quality control/assurance goes beyond the laboratory and entails diverse areas of specialisation that don't necessarily require laboratory knowledge (hence you can still be an expert in quality control/assurance without being a public analyst).

the training takes 3yrs to complete! are you up for it? smiley

if it takes 3yrs to obtain Quality control/assurance certification, how long does it take one to be certified a Public analyst in IPAN... Do you have any slightest idea of the cost to run the program:

it also takes 3yrs to complete the public analyst training. the cost is moderate, you won't spend more than N150,000 within that three year training
