There are no benefits from having a president from your ethnic group except empty "boasting". Ask Yorubas, Ijaws and Hausas if the gained anything from their presidents. They got nothing.


Personally, I'm happy as an Igbo man that no Igbo has ruled Nigeria in 50 years. At least, nobody will say that it was "Igbo misrule" which destroyed Nigeria or that Igbos marginalised them.

Ask yorubas, Northerners about that.
Hopefully 2019 we have Igbo presido and let's know if this country is truly one Nigeria by heart or by OYEL.
