Good day house, i haven't deployed any project online before, i use a windows os, but when searching online on how i can deploy my project live, i got results but it's all talking about ubutu, linux and some command line statement that's not for windows but linux, i also searched on how to deploy on digital ocean but, it 's all linux, ubutu stuff. So i came here to see if any one can help

Hello Osaze,

To deploy your project online, you would need to perform the following steps:

Purchase a web host
Upload your project to the root of your host
Create a new database
Change your project database connection to the new one
Export your old database using phpmyadmin interface
Import into the newly created database online.

Voila your site has been deployed.

Issues you may run into:

Links not directing properly after deploying

Solution:

Open your new database and search for old links with local host URL and change to your domain URL
