I am almost giving up on Nigeria really.

Who is fighting corruption actually, we can't even tell who the culprits are anymore,everyone is involved in corruption somehow.
It's a very pathetic case

Whatever comes out of the Investigation might be ignored, this same committee report on Amaechi was ignored so even if this CCT chairman is found guilty and prosecuted then Amaechi isn't qualified as a minister...

However, I'm not in support of corruption In any guise but I think the manner an way Saraki is trying to evade justice is Ingenious.

After trying to use appeals which appears unsuccessful, he has chosen to smear the process in his own way.
Nevertheless, I believe he'd boomerang on him soon

For the pass 6months the senate has failed to attend to national issues (the job the masses sent them to perform on their behalf). Instead they attend to their personal selfish interest.

One of the major reasons for fuel scarcity is their (Senate) failure to approve the monies to pay the subsidy guys.

Now on saraki's committee all I can say is why do this people like to drag us back for their self-centred reasons?

This is interesting. So a defendant is going to preside over a matter concerning a judge trying his case, just because he is the Senate president.

I can see how desperate Saraki is. He is using his powers well. I won't be surprised if he goes ahead to instigate a process to abolish the CCT in its entirety.

No problem, let him use his power. End result is to remove the Judge and put in another one. His trial continues.

Mr. Man, if you cannot think, you should be able to read. The article didn't say Saraki initiated the probe but a member of the senate from Ebonyi state. If you're trying to blame him for receiving petition from a senate member, you should also blame him if he reject any bill that will better your life.
On your second line. CCT is not a conventional court but administrative panel and no one can just use it as toil in their hands. If Danladi resigned or sacked today by the recommendation of the 2/3 of the senate, the new Justice would have to go to senate for approval.

But if you follow the case closely you'd see that all this while, Saraki has been trying to evade justice with all sorts of ploys and shenanigans.
