just walk to the OBS office in camp, application begins immediately camp opens. OBS building is the first building by the left inside the camp

U dnt get to choose hostel...i got there because i arrived late i.e the 2nd day of Reg. Ajimobi and the other male hostels are always the 1st to be filled before the one in which i stayed.

Secondly bro, Ajimobi hall is already outta my mind as i wont be able to bear the large population and NOISE. Apart from ur own hostel which seems to be the last to be allocated, are the other hostels okay? Do they have their ensuite toilets, etc? Hope they aint too populated and noisy like Ajimobi? Lol

For those in Lagos, and wish to go from Ojota park.

I made enquiry today and was told the following.
1) Sienna bus with carrying capacity of 7 passengers goes to Oyo daily
2) From Ojota to Oyo is #2,050
3) The driver will be willing to take us directly to camp if we are 7.
4) When I told him that we'll be going on Wednesday and as asked him how much it will cost, he said we should meet on Wednesday to discuss further.

My deduction is that he will be willing to take #2,300(or even less) per passenger directly to camp if we go in group of 7.

Those interested should declare their interest, I may have to drop my phone number, but we will all meet in Ojota.

Quick advise..
Ibadan is not advisable if you aren't sure you will be posted to a private firm/school..
Public schools don't pay nor give reasonable accommodation, you will have to sort ur self out, And accommodation is soooo on the high side, trust me it not funny
While my fellow corpers posted to other local government(orelope, iseyin, sarki west) were all given conducive accommodation..

So I wouldn't advice ibadan if you are going to be in a public office,even government house ibadan doesn't give accommodation. And all other local government has got the necessary amenities(light, water, banks),NOTHING special about ibadan except it been the state capital and it proximity to lagos..
N:B : self contain and 2 bed room flat is very scarce here.. so be ready to share a 3 or 4 bedroom flat with others.

Nice plan @ Sambest, my area is closer to Ikotun and they have buses going to Ibadan in the market. T.fare is #1050 to Ibadan, I've not made findings abt iseyin t.fare, bt I'd sure be going from Ikotun

You guys can get a direct bus to Iseyin at Ladipo (not sure about the spelling, i only know its not far from oshodi). Tfare from der is 1500 for bus and and 1700 for normal car.

K, its worthy to note that the distance from Ibadan to Iseyin is approximately the same distance from Lagos to Ibadan.

Yes thats what i took while going to camp. Its not a siena. Just a normal car. Three people at the back and one in front. The garage is close to that market at ladipo. They ld stop you at a junction and you enter a 100naira bike to camp

Airtel is the best in camp followed by mtn[2g, the 3g is on and off]. Alafin is also condusive with less number and ensuit bathroom & toilet...May you all enjoy ur stay in camp like i did.

Depends on wia u r tho. Airtel is horrible in Alao hostel. You cant even make calls not to talk of browse with it but its very ok outside
