Good guys my car. golf 3, 1.8ltr. sometimes it drives smoothly while sometimes it acts as if there is no fuel supply to d carburetor. the car cease to move at dat point even when I throttle hard, then it picks again and drives fine. I av change d fuel pump, fuel filter. I even bot another carburetor (electric ) d fault is still there I av to return d carburetor.

Get your carburetor set by a carburetor expert not ordinary kazeem, I once experience it and they should check the efficiency of your fuel pump

I was told that electric carburetors does not need servicing, once it's bad I need to replace it.
how do I check d efficiency of the fuel pump, I just changed it and d problem persist.

Get your car to a good carburetor expert. Pls make sure you go with him to get a good toks.

Had same issue, electric carb. Serviced and now car moves smoothly. Downside-fuel consumption slightly high unlike before.

Check your brain box suckets and your relay box under the steering' the fault must be from either of them

I Av experience. Ds in ma golf 4.solution is scanning but likely to be airflow meter
