Nice one, glads. You both tried. But Liricyst surprised me. The dude has got potentials. You just need to work on your breathcontrol, learn how to induce emotions in your lyrics, know when to stop and give the listeners time to digest your bars, and then pronouncing words correctly. If you're gonna spit like a black american, wire your whole verse with that idea. Don't swerve and start bringing up different accents in one content.

Lol, Llaykorn. You need a lot of work mehn. Your lyrics sounded decent. But your delivery, flow, cadence, breath control, has everything wrong with it.

One could think you were reading a speech or some poem. You have to lose yourself when you spit. Open your mouth, pronounce words correctly and back them up with every emotion it is to represent. E.g; when you're gonna call an opponent a fool or spit some curse words; you'd have to sound angry. Lit up the pitch a little and make sure you twang your accent.

If you're gonna say something he said before; make his words sound stupid by mimicking that particular sentence in a funny way. Listen to the likes of Eminem, Devin Tha Dude, K.Dot and Pat Stay for inspiration.

And the rest of the things I told Liricyst ; you should work on them too. Good luck

Lol....thanks
after my "ever last two minutes line "..i was so outta breath.

but i wasn't spitting americana....i was being original. I guess it came out that way cos i was accentuating the end rhymes aggressively so it would be pronounced.
thanks though
Pointers on breath control would be highly appreciated.

Take a breath or half a breath when you say each sentence or line. Find out within you the easiest way you can say something quick and still come out audible; then work on that. Don't just pour your whole vocal strength on a verse until it is necessary. Find a particular rapper you like his style, and cling on him. Study his ways of pronouncing words, where he stops and how he makes it easy for him; then follow suite.

For me: Lupe Fiasco, AZ The Visualiza and Eminem.

It would be tricky following vinnie paz and diabolic o. Very tricky!
But i will start to work on breath control, speed and clarity. Thanks
