I don't know if anyone that has used it to root but the root access has been unavailable on the kingroot 4.5 and there was an option of people sending request for the root access and finally it's there now, so I believe it can root when you try it. I have changed my IMEI and using glo 3gig for 1k on mine. If need be, I will root, but for now am enjoying it like that

My broda I don tire to warn people of this rooting thing.
99% of the bricked infinix hot note brought to me was as a result of root established and the guy(s) went ahead to update lollipop.

Apart from installation of DANGEROUS apps you don't need rooting for this droid.
Anyway continue. My fee for unbricking won't come down.

Really? so you can use it to delete unwanted system applications,? you can use to purchase paid applications free? you can use it to reduce d CPU functionality whenever d phone sleeps to make the super battery to be wonderfully super? tell me how you're going to use all the functions of SD maid, can you force-install on SD card?

ok the phone is heavy.. but you know why
the battery is massive and last over 2days playing with opera mini, watsap, bbm, the a lil bit of download.. i mostly use opera mini to browse
the edge is very responsive and on 3g, the speed is a wow..
the camera is cool and come out great (esp with flash)
the wifi is responsive too..
you have about less than 10gb storage to use.. but you can add ur sd.. i haven't done that yet..

the sound comes out cool, playing music with is not high tech but also not inferior
it's worth the price for me however, it depends on what you want.

The only important/unimportant thing you've said here is deleting (unwanted system app)..... I mean safe for any inbuilt game, what system app is worth deleting? And how much space can you save from doing so? Any attempt to delete certain system app, your m5 will become an history (am sure you know that one). It may be important to reduce cpu functionality in other device. But for m5? I doubt quite much. that has been settled already on their various power option. However, cpu functionality is dependent on the habit or preferred usage style of the device owner. Some persons over work their cpu by running multiple background social media apps and senseless widgets, whilst listening to music and downloading large files. Such persons will come here to rant about inefficient battery. My brother, why would you want to force install on SD card? Why?
NB: make no mistake, the device am using as we speak is rooted, and sufficiently customized, but its no better than an unrooted M5.
