The Surveillance drones handed over to Lagos RRS
(Rapid Response Squad) police by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode have been deployed to different parts of Lagos. The drones were first spotted in Ikeja in the wee hours of today and later spotted in different parts of the state few hours later. Check out another photo

Drone or No drones, this won't make The Nigerian police turn up when heavy militia armed robbers enter the city to rob those banks. Waste of time and money.

But it is enough to dissuade the small guys from criminal activities. How many of these "heavy militia armed robberies" happen monthly compared to the less heavy one?

this is not a drone but a flying camera.. a drone cant come so low cos it can easily be brought down by gun shots. flying camera use for coverage at events like star trek and musical shows etc

The crime visible to all in Lagos "Agberos" still unchecked they are busy looking for crime with that toy.
Same way we Nigeria launched Satellite to monitor environmental disaster whereas nothing is being done to check the ones identified so far.

It's more or less like a surveillance Camera cos it's not harmed to attack the Criminals! It will only help to gather Intel and update the RRS on field to perform their assignments efficiently and effectively!
Kudos to Ambode, he's doing well as far as Security is concerned!
