Olodo, How can a poor state generate more funds internally than "richer" states? How? Besides Ebonyi still gets complete FG funds monthly whereas a "richer" state is running on only 55 million. comedy
A state that spends more than what it earns is likely to be poorer than a church rat..

FAKE STATISTIC..

Osun is the second poorest in Nigeria.

their is a difference between finacial sustanability and percentage of poor people in a state. One has to goverment and the other has to do with the people.

Though I doubt this report, for they said Katsina in in North Central.

lol okay lemme educate your illetrate biafran assss using the simplest logic possible...

Let's use family A and family B as example ..

Family A's head of the family generates 50naira monthly
While family B generates just 20naira..

Head of family A uses all the 50 naira generated to drink beer and take care of frivolous things while the children are poor and unkempt.

While the family B uses the 20 naira generated take care of his family and give them what they needed... Which family is richer between the two?

Family A Ebonyi, family B, osun ...

Now go to bed .. cheesy

I'm not taking of IGR..
China, America has the highest IGR in the world, but Qatar, luxemborg, singapore, switzerland are the richest Countries..
OSUN spends more than her income...

Ebonyi pays her workers. No poor people..

Osun is indepted to a large amount payable in 50yrs.. Workers go hungry...

Check out the substainability statictic.. In 35 position out of 36, The propability for Osun state to survive is low..

Why spend more than what you earn?
almost there but you still don't get it ..
Debt doesn't make you a poor person ... America is the most indebted nation but doesn't make it poor ...
People can feel the debt incured hence the reason for voting aregbe again ..

You calls a state that pay workers well as being poor, but a state where worker go hungry, and in big dept as being rich...

Osun now receive 50million monthly because of dept.. A state that use to receive billions now receives millions inorder to pay the dept they own for 50yrs...

Now tell me, what will 50million do? Can't even pay common electricity bills..

I pity Osun workers..

believe this and believe anything. Ebonyi generates more IGR than all those states combined. Check the NBS IGR stats for the year

Are you back from ban??

Whoever that compiled this list must be sick in the head. How can you rank Ebonyi state 7th among the poorest states in Nigeria?

Have you pressed to know the worth her IGR? It's 2nd to highest in the SS after the Anambras'.
Ebonyi state doesn't solely depends on federal allocations, they have several source of generating their income.

You guys needs to dig deep before coming to speculate what you do not have any clue about.

Don't mind those mofos. Ebonyi state, whose IGR is somewhere loosely above N11.8b. Ebonyi state is nowhere close to the 15th poorest states in Nigeria.

Fake list
From NBS[sup][/sup], it can be deduced that Rivers State, with its high IGR and relatively low debt, is Nigeria's most sustainable state, with Lagos, Enugu, Delta and Katsina all trailing in that order to make up Nigeria's top 5 most sustainable states.

Counting from the bottom, on the other hand, Plateau, Osun, Nasarawa, Borno and Ekiti are ranked as Nigeria's least sustainable states, with their low IGRs and inexplicably high debts.

On a personal region-by-region ranking (gotten by adding all the indices for every state in each region and dividing by the number of states in said region), the South-South is by far Nigeria's most sustainable region with a cumulative average sustainability index of 8.27

Coming a very distant second is the South-East with an index of 6.43

In third place is the North-West with an index of approximately 5.45

Number 4 is the South-West with 5.43

Coming fifth place with an index of 4.39, is the North-Central

And scraping the bottom of the barrel at last place, is the insurgency-torn North-East with an index of 3.97
fact.

so Igr now equates to poverty level ? Hahahahahahaha olodo omo Biafra ..

Do you even know what Igr means ?

olodo so you dont know that igr is directly proportional to poverty index...slmple you cant generate much igr and still remain poor.
your igr should be eaial to your economic performance, sometimes slightly, sometimes radically.so the idea remains that its a good indicator to poverty index.

No My Dear Joseph I expected him to have an impact on his community as a former Governor/Head of State/ Elder of the community. It is Harem not to give to the neededy in you community according to Islam. He has contributed zero in his decades as a leader. In face GEJ built the major road in his state that he use to visit his cows the 4 times he visited Nigeria.

Em have you lived or stayed in the north before? I doubt you have because if so, you would have understood the typical mentality of the average northerner, who cares not about the basic amenities of life, but cares that you uphold the tenets of Islam. The religion they value more than their own children.

And, what makes you believe PMB doesn't give? Have you ever heard or Saraqa? Believe it or not, it is the greatest deed/gift for another muslim to see that a fellow muslim is adhering to the tenets of Islam. For in the north, Islam rule, not the constitution or morality or what have you.
