Dokpesi, Bafarawa Arrested Over Arms Deal by Nobody: 8:35pm On Dec 01, 2015
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested ex-Sokoto state governor Attahiru Bafarawa and Chairman of the Africa Independent Television (AIT) Raymond Dokpesi over alleged N2.1 billion arms procurement scam said to have been carried out by former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki.
Daily Trust gathered that Attahiru Bafarawa whose sons were already in EFCC custody was together with D‎okpesi being questioned at the Abuja head office of the commission.
Bafarawa had earlier escaped arrest by operatives of the EFCC when they raided his Abuja residence.
Detectives of the EFCC investigating the arms procurement deal want Bafarawa and Dokpesi to explain government funds allegedly paid into their accounts through the office of the NSA suspected to be proceeds of the arms deal.
Daily Trust also learnt that former Minister of State for Finance Bashir Yuguda arrested on Monday over similar allegations is still in EFCC custody.

Only God can reveal the number of people benefitting from the economic drain pipe, watch as most of them will begin to flee in droves out of the country but I prayed they don't get to escape.
These includes those who called themselves MOG and tribal war lords who collect billions for campaign, baba i beg do the needful collect our money from them.
