Despite the global attraction and success of Barcelona, who won the treble last season, the finances are in sticky situation and it's been revealed that Enrique's side didn't even make a profit on their Champions League success.

Staggeringly, the wages of the Barcelona squad take up a monumental 74% of the La Liga leaders revenue - with Messi and Neymar being the high-earners.

Whilst there's still plenty to sort, like the sponsorship of the team strip and the Nou Camp itself, the likelihood of either of Barcelona's superstars leaving the club seems more likely and Neymar in particular seems to be in a precarious position as he negotiates a new contract.

Hazard + £40m for Messi wouldn't be a bad bid though.

Of course we have some financial issues. But then, it wouldn't come to that as we have other means of generating income. We have our shirt sponsorship deal on the pipeline. The reason we are yet to get money from that end is because we are negotiating for a better deal (like the Man Utd deal). There was an agreement before, but Barça are trying to up it to get tue best deal out there.

On a second note, our stadium naming could bring about some massive income also. We are really working hard on that too and hopefully soon we will get a hold on a very good deal.

So, dream all you want. Neither Messi or Neymar is going anywhere anytime soon.

I read that FC barca didn't make a single profit from the UCL they won due to the fact that Messi and Neymar take about 74% of the club finances and hence, one of the duo might leave to balance the wage budget.
