apolonius:
I rarely have faith in media reports as they are too sensationalized and subjective to drive publisher/proprietor agenda than objectively report facts.

The few facts I gleaned suggest that no particular groups were targeted. The ethnic groups of those who resigned and were sacked appear closer to mine than across the Niger.

We all have been so traumatized by the evils we suffer that it is fast becoming difficult to distinguish clear efforts at accountability from nepotism.

Nigeria is our country, no Hausa, Fulani, Igbo has more rights than I, an Igala man, or a Gbagyi. I believe this, stand for it and see many Nigerians who share same convictions.
@ the bolded, the fact remains the fact. Moreso, I always try to verify the veracity of any report.

I actually see in our leaders polarization tools of this country along political and ethnic lines.

The truth is, some things in Nigeria are done with a view to satisfying the "Federal Character' policy, whether it be an arrangement that'll churn out optimum result or not. In such case, methink it should be followed. But when at liberty to choose, a true leader should be able to carry most of his followers along, if not all, irespective of their descent.
