Thorby:Exactly, You got it all right. The rate at which most of all these tech companies deceive naive and "tech-illiterate" nigerians is becoming toooo much. I dont blame them tho.. A country without working law and Order will always be a fertile ground for Scammers to lay their seed. |

testedtechs: finfol007:Your reviews can't be more true. I received the silver coloured version yesterday and I noticed that the specification Konga gave on their site about the tablet was quite different from the actual spec the tablet has. The first thing that greets u when u bring out the tablet from it box is pure water nylon they used as the screen protector...and on switching the tablet on, you immediately notice the poor quality of the screen. The screen is definitely not an IPS screen. The processor is not octacore but a shitty dualcore. U can use an app like CPU-Z to see the true spec of this tablet. The Back camera konga listed as 8mp can only be 2mp at best. Very poor. The ram nko? Like d previous posters observed, it is not up to the 2gb Konga listed. More like 1gb or even less. Have noticed d speed of the tab? Slow, slow, slow. |

FINALLY....!!!MY BRYTE IPX8 (8inch)OCTACORE ARRIVED DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY (had to use it for two days at least to be able to give this full review) HERE WE GO..THE UNBIAS REVIEW OF THE TAB.. On unboxing,i could do nothing but open my mouth at the physical beauty of this tab....,the looks was stunning, i got the white front and graphyte back colored tab from konga,....very very beautiful,,,i mist confess,it is a premium buiild tab, with a home key(which is the only key on the screen) that illumiattes a white light on touch...very pretty,,the tab its self is metalic .build, the exact type of metals used on ipad air....i must confess,on seein the tab,u will think its an ipad,...bryte diid a great work on the looks of this tab....i see no defect or dissadvantage on the look....the simslots were well built and its cover fits in perfectly. (Konga mishandled my product,d nylon that came with my tab to protect its screen had scratchhes on it,tho not as bad but visible, still usinf the screen nylon cos i havent gotten a screen guard, the tab doesnt come with one) On switching on the tab itself....i was dazed with the graphics ii was welcomed with(cos i sincerely must confess that i was very scaredprior to recieving the tab due to their bryte ones dissapointment on display).the display was superb,,,crysp ,clear and sharp....with its ilunccher(unlike in bryte one) working perfectly with live icons like seen in ipad air(clock and calender icon works according to date nd time)....the smoothness of the display nd the tabs response to touch, swipe and scroll is awesome no disadvantage found here too.. Went to the camera straight on.....nd was once more amazed with the quality i was welcomed with,..too bad it doesnt come with a flash, i can say that of all the tabs i haave handled in the past(samsung nd d likes) this tab still packs the best camera..pix snaped produced a clear picture with a very fast autofocus....the disadvantage here iis that i cant switch to the front camera,,,,no icon to do so...and on installing camera 360(third party)...on switching to the front camera, it told me camera has stopped....AN IMPORTANT DEFECT U SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF.....(tho can be fixed withh a OTA wireless update) I rooted it afterwards with king root, dint take time at all and started restoring mmy apps from my previous phone on it with the hhelp of Titanium backup so i can test the tabs full functions..... i noticed IT HAS A VERY SMALL PARTITION FOR APPS(1GIG)...THIS IS A MAJOR DISSADVANTAGE tho i corrected it with the use of an app ccalled link2sd....whereby i moved all my apps to the inbuilt storage of the tab....mind u....the tab truely. Comes with 16gig inbuilt memory of which 12gig is usable.... The tab TRUELY COMES WITH A 2GIG RAM......unlike in bryte one where we were decieved, screenshots posted on this write up proves me right......i havent been able to use past 800mb since purchase and i still have over 1.2gig free ram to use.... The tabs multitasking is great, without having to close one app for the other......ram management too is awesome(TRUST ME) the device is truely an octacore processor device ,clocking at 2.2ghtz(cpuz proved that right)...unlike in bryte one,,, The tab doesnt go hot......tho warm on touch on Heavy usage nd on charging. The charging speed is slow....takes abt 2hrs to fully charge,,BUT JUDGING BY THE SPEED OF THE DRAINAGE ,i would tell u that we have been decieved,,,, this tab aint a 6500mah tab, but like a 4000mah ,,, battery drains at the same speed with my infinix hote note phone(even tecno 8h with 5000mah beats it on equal use)...to prove my point....THIS IS ALSO A MAJOR DISADVANTAGE.... dunno if an update will fix it by making its demand for power less,, Remember i told u the tab has a lower led light, well it comes with a disadvantage, the led onlly comes up wen u touch it,...doesnt indicate a notification, or missed activity on my tab..iv tried using several softwares to correct that, but instead,it rremains the same inactive button except wen switched on or wen touched....(also,an ota update can fix that)..... I installed exposed installer and activated my gravity box to be able to tweak my tab to the more attractive ui interface u are seeing in the pix.....i tweaked my status bar and all its icon....i activated heads up notification, also tweaked my navigation bar to show that beautiful blue color u are seeing,...if not....all u get as stock is one pitched black ui interface that doesnt really look attractive... Fwinal verdict!!!.... THE TAB IS A GREAT BUY FOR ANYOONE THAT GETS IT AS MOST FLAWS IT HAS CAN BE FIXED THROUGH A SYSTEM UPDATE. Will keep u guys posted on anything new i detect about the device.

Walintonx:Sorry bro. Welcome to Konga one-chance jibiti. Let us speak up & speak out against this day light robbery by Konga & the so called producer of the tablet -- Technology Professionals Ltd ![]() Those on Facebook & twitter should take the matter there for more publicity. And in my opinion, I don't think that looking for another unsuspecting Nigerian to dump the tab on would be the right thing to do. I would rather suggest we should be thinking of moves to either get d correct tablet or our monies back from Konga. |

MODs kindly move this thread to the front page. A lot of Nigerians are still falling prey to this bullshit. They need to be warned. |

ur a criminal. u bought a tab for 15k and ur expecting to see the specs of 30k tab abi?? ravemax: |
| Re: Bryte One Octacore by testedtechs: 4:01pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
MeesterMAN:I wasn't expecting anything other than what they advertised, but surprisingly there advert is a lie...which makes it a scam. I am not particular on picture or screen quality but performance... I expected their Octacore 1.3ghz 2gb ram to be faster or at least same speed with my Xperia z quadcore which I clocked at 0.9ghz because of battery issues it's way much slower without adding any app to it....what other definition of scam do u want to hear |
| Re: Bryte One Octacore by ravemax: 4:13pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
MeesterMAN:U are the bigger criminal. A professional criminal. A verified criminal at that. Mumu go n check the spec they listed on their site about the tab. If u were normal u should be asking Konga why they gave a falsified spec about a product they are soliciting buyers for. Between me n ur paymaster Konga, who is d criminal? In ur miserable life if u ever as much as grumble within u whenever u are shortchanged, may that day be ur end. Anuofia ![]() |

If you guys don't like this tablet, don't spoil market for those who want it. I've been using this tablet since January when I bought it, and its awesome! Although the camera isn't that sharp, I didn't buy it for the camera lol it once had battery issue and I went to their office and the battery lasts depends on how long and with what you charge it with I.e nepa or gen. |
