[ Masterweb Reports: Press Release For Immediate Release ] - (Onitsha Nigeria, 3rd December 2015)-

The leaderships of the Southeast based Coalition of Human Rights Organizations; comprising the International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety), Anambra State Branch of the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), the Center for Human Rights & Peace Advocacy (CHRPA), Human Rights Club(HRC) (a project of LRRDC), Southeast Good Governance Forum (SGGF), Forum for Equity, Justice & Defense of Human Rights (FEJDHR), Society Advocacy Watch Project (SPAW), Anambra Human Rights Forum (AHRF), the International Solidarity for Peace & Human Rights Initiative (INTERSOLIDARITY) and the Street Law Africa (LawAfrica) are alarmed, shocked and dismayed over the killing on Wednesday (2nd December 2015) of peaceful and non violent protesters in various parts of Onitsha particularly along the Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s Gateway at Onitsha Niger Bridge and the Obodoukwu Road in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State; which led to the death of at least ten (10) innocent members of the public and injuring of scores of others.


While six peaceful protesters/picketers were killed at the Ojukwu Gateway (Niger Bridgehead) by soldiers, four others including a mai suya (hit by a stray bullet) were killed by SARS and Mobile Police squads along Obodoukwu Road in the nearby Ogbaru Local Government Area. Among the ten peaceful protesters violently killed by members of Governor Willie Obiano’s Joint Security Taskforce was late Miss Anthonia Nkiruka Ikeanyionwu; 21years old student of the Federal College of Education, Technical in Umunze, Orumba South LGA of Anambra State. She hailed from Adazi-Nnukwu in Anambra State. Another person was earlier shot and killed by soldiers at the Gateway in the night of 1st December 2015 after a brief interrogation. He was an Igbo driver of a long truck parked in support of the vigil/picketing. He was dragged down from his steering, briefly interrogated and shot dead.


We wish to recall that tens of thousands of peaceful protesters coordinated by the leaderships of two self determination pressure groups: the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and a splinter body of the Movement for Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), led by Comrade Uchenna Madu had on Tuesday,1st December 2015, converged at the Niger Bridgehead (Ojukwu Gateway) in Onitsha for a three day peaceful vigil/picketing to press for the unconditional release of director of the Radio Biafra London (RBL) and head of the IPOB, Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, who has been held extra judicially and unconstitutionally by the DSS since 14th October 2015.

I sort of think the use of force by the authorities went slightly overboard.

Yet one cannot really call it a peaceful demonstration when roads are rendered impassable, wanton destruction of goods and deliberate arson of properties were celebrated.

What the rights groups listed above should do is to add Arase's name to a list of war criminals who will be brought to justice later.
All persons committing crimes against humanity in Nigeria must be made to pay for their crimes according to international law.

The day a drunk driver kills your daughter or sibling as it happened to me. You will know how impossible peaceful reaction can be seeing jim/her in the pool of blood.

Have IPOB killed anybody? - No, why kill them?

The same mad JTF even killed innocent Hausa Suya seller who wasn't threatened by IPOB - think about this, the Hausa Suya seller was safe and comfortable in the midst of IPOB protesters than JTF that took his life.

The problem with "Nigerians" is that you are physically and spiritually blind, deaf and dumb. You somehow can't understand anything that normal minds can.

Take a look at Nigeria today; Boko haram has just emerge as the deadliest terrorist group in the WORLD having killed more than 6500 "Nigerians" this year alone. They killed more people than ISIS. WHO did they kill? Igbos?
Okay, next, last week one of the northern politicians was taped in a phone conversation and he was saying that Igbos killed Muhammed Shuwa?
Remember Shuwa the commander of the 1st division of Nigerian army that fired the first shot at Gakem to forcefully stop Biafra from seceding?
The man died execution style; clearly killed by his own people.
Boko Haram have killed more than 80,000 Northerners since their carnage began, and I don't see anybody stopping them from killing more.

What I'm trying to say is that when you commit crimes against the children of The Most High who only wants to separate from you, that HE WILL AVENGE IT. Over the years, a rough guess has been that for every Igbo killed by Nigerian security agents, 10 northerners die from some inexplicable cause. Today, the ratio is closer to 100 Northerners for every Igbo you kill. And the ratio will increase to maybe 1000:1 Igbo you kill as your wickedness increases.
We have HEAVENLY FORCES lined up for our defense.
The few Yoruba that can see spiritually are already distancing themselves from the Nigerian evil against Ndigbo.
More are likely to keep doing so.

As for Arase, he has a date at ICC.

In your opinion, the value of life and property of others is immaterial?

I made my opinion known, the applied force from the authorities was perhaps too hard but the protest was hardly peaceful.

the truth still remains that the way the protester conducted themselves by destroying some properties of some businessmen was not good at all. I dont have any problem with my people protesting but burning or destroying other people's properties is uncalled for. what you dont want other people to do to you, dont do it to others.

Ibo biafran criminals go to commit a crime but they expect IGP Arase to not do his work but stand by? This is the same reasons Ibos cry since 1970, that the same countries that they warred against did not help them to win the war. Ibos are incredibly stoopid people! No Nigerian, government or private individual exists to feed Ibos and aid their criminal secession against Nigeria's interest! If 40 Million Ibos go in front of 100 mm shells from a machine gun that will fire forever after being warned to go about any secessionist plans lawfully, the gun must not stop until the entire 60 Million are wiped out! If you want to die and go stand in front of a moving train, being fully aware of the consequence of your stoopidity, then you will be mowed down and no one will worry about you! Not UN!, Not AU or any other country! Nigeria does not owe a criminal secessionist movement anything but to protect Nigeria's interest and Nigeria will deploy the most brutal crushing blows on biafra!

Russia, China, the ME, etc have all brutally crushed secessionists and will not and cannot give a hoot about if Nigeria destroys criminal Igbos. Israel has been doing the same thing in Palestine for several years! My point, stop blaming Arase and go for biafra legally, like Scotland. Tell your representatives and senators to do what you want, but if they will not and ibos go out in front of armored tanks and machine guns with clubs, wooden rifles, sticks and stoopidity, then they will all be mowed down and nothing will happen even if the entire 40 M ibos in Nigeria are all destroyed! The protest was largely peaceful wtout any destruction of property until d security agents started firing live ammunition at d protesters and in d process killed d 10 ppl mentioned.
It was after then that d acts of arson followed.
